Yes its important to bring fresh photos ......although now a days they take photos electronically .......but you must keep it .........as describe above their digital camera may out of order and it may cause wastage of time ........

Bro, I ve helped people understand the technicalities of this process more than most people here. Jo meri samajh mein aya and I discovered/learned, I always shared for other's benefit/peace of mind...and All these questions that r being asked recently, either I don't know about them OR they have been answered a hundred times on forum, so there is nothing new/special to be shared by me. Regular info can/will be given by anyone and is also available on previous pages on forum too (if someone bothers to look).. N if someone specifically asks/adresses me anything, I will respond..

As for ppr prediction, u re the PREDICTION GURU now ....for wat I feel, I ve told u on email too...arsh/zeeshan feel the same like u...and think ppr will come within 2-3 months of medical, which means dec/jan (I hope u guys r right again)..... Although, I think it COULD get late, like 6-8 months (seeing some trends like WAY, who s approaching 10 months.....and Gillani, who s approaching 8 months....reason COULD BE coz they got medical earlier than most people and now, delay in ppr is to balance the average processing time with others, I don't know)...but there r cases who also got it in 3-6 months too....so its all luck, n is case-to-case (just like medical/visa).... nothing can be predicted as a general rule....bus dua karo, jub bhi aye, durust aye...!!!

P.S (on a lighter note):

You are right it is a matter of luck and no guarantee who will get Visa first
In my opinion it also depends on case to case basis if case is smooth and easily understandable to officer then it goes fast....
I am just waiting for one last email of PPR and that's it.....

CIC has not released any upto date data , only information that is available is of June 30,2013 , and Ministers speech that as on Sep 29,2013 they have 65,000/- applicants in pipe line.
Current year ie 2014 Visa Quota is 47000/- .
I personally believe that this back log will be cleared by June 2015 , as from the date of issuance of medical request etc , it takes roughly 08 to 09 months to get visa , and at an average all applicants have a maximum of 90-100 days to travel.

We are upon mercy of Visa Offices , wasting time and killing possible bright opportunities.

Since April 2010 , I am waiting for any response from LVO , my 06 friends , one real sister and one cousin , who filled their applications 08 months after me are now Canadian PR.

Clerk Badsha rules , no first in first out , only "akar bakar bambee bou" prevails.

This is 1.8 Year Visa Quota , roughly as last year LVO quota was 9,500/- Skilled Workers Applications

One of my relative has filled application in 2009 , and have sent complete documents in December 2009 , and till date are upon mercy of LVO.
