Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Today TCS has delived all my originals documents. last year when CIC sent the 6-12 months wait letter + eligibility positive review....their letter also mentioned that they had sent my originals back to me with the letter which actually they did'nt.....i needed my nikahnama so sent them an emai last month for it plus all originals if they did not need any for further processing.....the documents recieved to day include all original ref/work letters, Nikahnama, all birth certificates and my boss's visiting cards as well.......there is also a note hand written by visa officer....

hope the medicals would happen this month

I got all my originals back January 2013.

we are in the same boat...i have a hunch that they are waiting for next year's target allocation which is rolled out to Visa office's in Nov every year... once they get the targets they will roll out medicals to all the pending cases. on 9th nov my application will complete its 3 years with London Visa office...in this time and age these times are ridiclously clumsy......................

Hi Comrades! After approximately 3 years, 8 months and 15 days I finally and mercifully got my Visa and COPR today. There is a brown colored envelop in the package with my name file number and my visa officer's name on it. I am wondering what is in this envelop. Any clues?

Please submit the documents listed below within 60 days of the birth of your baby:
New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant
New Additional Family Information form IMM5406 for yourself and each family member over the age of 18
Processing fee of $150 - Bank draft made payable to 'The Receiver General for Canada'
2 passport photos
Long form birth certificate
Copy of passport bio page

I forwarded an email to CIC on OCT23 and today got standard reply as below:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

"In response to your email, please note that this file is currently undergoing routine background checks. We are currently unable to advise when the checks will be completed.

Please note that no further action is required from you at this stage. We will contact you as soon as the results of the background checks have been received"

As they are saying Background checks still in process does it means still the security checks not started? or security checks are also called as Background checks.

I got fress PCC request in June and provided it in July since then Medicals are awaited.

Seniors advice required.

As u sent csi a week ago so I think you should send next csi after a month

Should I apply for GCMS notes? r they helpful or should I wait and write again after a month?
