Today I applied for Caips Notes by Visafile.info, 45 days required for processing, pray for me to get notes with some forecasting good news in my notes

In my opinion everyone must apply minimum one time CAIPS/GCMS if never applied till now!
Most of the people ask what is the advantage for applying it, below is the short summary.....

See if your immigration points calculation is accurate
Know detailed review as seen by the immigration officer
Ensure that there is no communication breakdown
Get prepared for next steps in your immigration process
Confirm that no procedural errors are made
Learn and address previous issues before resubmission

if all above is OK, it will give you a peace of mind and then you have to wait for next step without any headache....
In general our cases are OK but still no body know how further time will it take so after receiving your file minimum you will have an official update instead living in dreams or making guess that your file is alive/dead....because CSE feedback can't tell you the full story

I have bad news
I am visiting Canada as my daughter will be joining University, yesterday we had a hard time getting into Canada as the immigration officers claiming that my application for immigration was rejected reason my medical was not delivered on the required time.
They requested the Medical on April 19th 2013 I received it May 1st did my Medical and family which was delivered on May 15th 2013
On my CAIPS noted says that M01 for all of us and was delivered to immigration officers on June 14 2013 I think it took them 30 days to process it .
I know that some people went through the same thing before I can't remember who.
Any suggestion friends.

I am shocked to hear this news. I am sure it is a system glitch.
Where did you do your medicals in Saudi Arabia? Was you ecase updated with meds received? Did you send your medical results yourself or the center sent them directly?

In either case, I believe you should have the courier tracking number. I suggest you get the "signature proof of delivery" from the courier company and send it to the visa office ASAP with a letter explaining the situation. If you can prove that the medicals got there in time, I am sure they will fix the problem with your file.

Friends, I need some guidance.

I am entering Canada as a graduate student in late August. My immigration application is in process with ecase showing "Medicals Received" since three weeks ago.

My question is if I don't get passport request before entering Canada, can my immigration visa be stamped inside Canada? Or do I still have to send my passport to PVO. I have already sent email to PVO regarding my change of address and that I am going to Canada but so far there is no reply/update from them.

So from tomorrow PAFSO will completely withdraw from services. Lets see how Canadian Govt will deal with this issue. They cannot afford to close offices and go home. But it will take time to make alternative arrangements. Meanwhile new applications will start landing at visa offices

I think there are two possible outcomes when they will end the strike (because one day or other, they have to settle the matter or the government will surrender in front of them). Firstly, in order to coverup the work which will go in pending due to the strike they will work very quickly and send the medicals and updates docs requests etc in a very quick manner. The second possibility is (i am feeling too much pain to write this possibility) all the pending cases would be delayed further. I pray to Allah that they will opt the first approach - Ameen.
