I GOT MY CAIPS NOTES IN START JANUARY,13. WHERE ITS IS MWNTIONED THAT " IMM 1701S REQUESTED ON 30-5-2012. I RECIVED ONLY18 MONTH LETTERS IN FEB,13 NOT MR .
COULD YOU PLEASE COMMENT ON IMM 1701S DATE ?

This mean that they printed it on that day and when they allocate visa for you they will ask for new photo and then send it to you.

Dear Members
I have sent my updated documents to london visa office recently. I just wrote my file no like (B000000000) on envelop and didn't write (EFL) along with file no. I want to ask all is it necessary to write (EFL) along file no or is it ok? one more thing how much time visa office time will take to issue PPR1 after submitting updated documents. I done medical in February and sent RPRF along with PCC in March. I got request updated forms on 2 May.

File No is more than Enough, no need to be worry, LVO prefer only file No with Name.
Mostly BGC starts after UDR, but if your BGC is complete then very soon yo will get PPR1, if your BGC is pending then it takes 2-8 months depending upon the country, travel history, name, country of residence etc. NEKEOL

Hi there! I called IOM Islamabad and got 23rd may as my medical appointment date. Now how to send the landing fee? Should I send landing fee immediately or should I wait for my medical first and then send the landing fee the next day. What is the best way to get this demand draft from Islamabad?

medical will be online OR send by the IOM directly, therefore don't wait for the medical,
Prepare DRAFT from any bank where u r holding your account, not a big issue.

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Receiver General for Canada"

Best way to send the landing fee is Demand Draft. You can make it either from bank or money exchange so many are available in Blue Area one recommended is east west money exchange near kulsoom plaza

Thanks Badar! A friend told me about HBL melody market. Anyway, Once I get the demand draft should I just Send it through TCS or should I send a covering letter with it too telling them about the date of my medical appointment etc. I have been sending them so many documents in the past that it sounds rather odd that this time I am supposed to send only a light weight Bank Draft. Kindly enlighten me further since you seem to have gone thru this procedure recently.

I made the drafts here in KSA but with drafts of RPRF they asked the IM0008 and Police Certificates again so my envelop was quite heavy
But my brother done this in Islamabad so familiar with procedure. Cover letter is quite enough you can put it in transparent file cover to make it slight heavy All the best for rest of process

1 Yes you can change it but you can not put the Qubec or other states which come under provincial nominee program

As received in CAIPS, every dependent UCI/Party No is different....What UCI number should I write in this column???
2 You can not quote UCI number which you received in CAIPS as its not an official communication with CIC, you can mention the file number or only your UCI number

I hv lived for just 15 days in some other country ... should I have to mention this 15days stay ..........although they hv mentioned that write only if you have stayed more than 6 months???
3 No need that will be later on come in your travel history in Im0008 where you was living and that place become your address

Dear mashahzad, I'm not an expert but based on info I see here & on various forums and interacting with my friends who had applied in 2010 & received, first 6-12mo wait letters then 18mo wait letters from LVO, I would say:

1. many of the participants here are over optimistic
2. there are trends of LVO to interact with applicants - likely in March & October
3. no one has thought that why he/she got 18 mo wait letter even after 6-12mo wait letter but few got MR from PVO?
4. why few applicants got transferred to PVO?

Collectively, I'd say 'files those were absolutely FINE (where VO has no doubt about anything like POF, JD, REF Letter etc.) transferred to PVO for quicker processing.' That's how these lucky applicants got MR directly.

Where VO needs some more info to clear his/her doubts remain kept in LVO & sent with 18mo wait letter. There might by visa allocation issue too for year 2013. Due to these two reasons they got 18 mo wait letters so as to process them in 2014.

In short, 18 mo wait letter holders are no more on priority during 2013 (only), so I guess that they will start getting MR along with UDR (like fresh PCC) from Oct 2013 onward.

Bro I don't know which FSW category your application falls in, MI1,2,3 etc. but let me share with you, the time when we started getting 6-12 months letter, same reviews and concerns were shared but when CAIPS of many wait letter holders received, it got same info i.e. positive remarks. The trend of applications which are sent to PVO also shows that its nothing hidden, most of the wait letter holders, who received their letter between March and mid-April of 2012 now got 18 months letter, most of the cases who received in or after April 2012 were sent to PVO, many cases which got 6-12 months letter in the last, either got 18 months letter or waiting for update (I am not talking about exceptions here). It will be more cleared once CAIPS/GCMS of any member will be shared on forum.
Even if we take it as 18 months, as per jimmy pa gi, it will come by Aug or Sep, which looks quite logical as if they start sending MR in these months then they will be able to finalize it in 2014. Otherwise....... Don't wanna comment on that

(1) For example where in GCMS notes sec its written need updated POF they will get UDR + 18 mo wait letter.

(2) Where the file sent to ECU (I guess, new name is ECD), this means reassessment. These applicants are in danger zone but not all.

(3) Most interesting, where VO is not fully satisfied & applicants got 67 marks or more - they also moved to ECU. Hence no MR for these applicants until further checks come satisfactory

how to know if VO is satisfied or not satisfied from the 67 Marks. in GCMS, my eligibility is passed Dec 2012 but no MR yet. CSE reply BGC in process... how long no time frame....
