Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Dear mashahzad, I'm not an expert but based on info I see here & on various forums and interacting with my friends who had applied in 2010 & received, first 6-12mo wait letters then 18mo wait letters from LVO, I would say:

1. many of the participants here are over optimistic
2. there are trends of LVO to interact with applicants - likely in March & October
3. no one has thought that why he/she got 18 mo wait letter even after 6-12mo wait letter but few got MR from PVO?
4. why few applicants got transferred to PVO?

Collectively, I'd say 'files those were absolutely FINE (where VO has no doubt about anything like POF, JD, REF Letter etc.) transferred to PVO for quicker processing.' That's how these lucky applicants got MR directly.

Where VO needs some more info to clear his/her doubts remain kept in LVO & sent with 18mo wait letter. There might by visa allocation issue too for year 2013. Due to these two reasons they got 18 mo wait letters so as to process them in 2014.

In short, 18 mo wait letter holders are no more on priority during 2013 (only), so I guess that they will start getting MR along with UDR (like fresh PCC) from Oct 2013 onward.

I am not sure at what stage my file is??? Have they started doing anything on my file??? Any rough idea when I will hear about medical????

There is a weight in your statment.
I applied along with my friends. Same NOC, same date of application and same education.
Out of my four friends, only one got wait letter of 18 months.
My time of 6 - 12 months wait letter has gone over in last months. Caips notes says that LVO is waiting for confirmation of few things from Islamabad so until those verfication will not finish, file will remain in review.
Just send an CSQ email last week and got reply that my file still waiting for a review. I also asked in my eamil that why my friends file gone to PVO and why not my one. and I got reply about that question that it is LVO prcedure and only few files will be transfered depending on their prcoess timing and other factors which can only be decided by visa officer.
Rest, Here, every body says from their experience regardless of good or bad. God knows better whats going on.
However, it looks like that there is some thing in few files which were transfered to PVO and there is more to do in few files thats why they remained in LVO.

Normally files are reviewed thoroughly at two stages; first during SELDEC stage & second at final stage before issuing visa. Even if you pass SELDEC, means getting more than 67 points, there's still VO satisfaction is more important. At this stage he/she might send your docs for verification or ask another VO/dept to relook at your case, reason being VO is not fully satisfied. That's how MR is kept on hold.

Revisit your GCMS notes, if you have and try to figure out what went wrong that delayed your MR.

If you had a chance to read GCMS it would say "civil documents ok" and then it would say "send MR etc". Which means file is ok they just need to wait for visa quota. The people who got letters from PVO it says that in order to relieve the pressure on LVO cases had been transferred to PVO.

The best thing with English people is that they will abuse you but in such a style that you will feel it like a greeting.
LVO cant announce that those file which are OK will go to PVO and those file who have problems will remain in LVO.

Q2: UCI Number???......As received in CAIPS, every dependent UCI/Party No is different….What UCI number should I write in this column???
Q3: Previous countries of residence??......I hv lived for just 15 days in some other country … should I have to mention this 15days stay ……….although they hv mentioned that write only if you have stayed more than 6 months???
Q4: Status of children (dependent)……… what should I write CITIZEN OR STUDENT?? My child is less than 18yrs old and studying in a school???
Q5: At what address i hv to sent this upadted forms package??? Pertaining from LVO

Where do you intend to live in Canada?
1 Yes you can change it but you can not put the Qubec or other states which come under provincial nominee program

2 You can not quote UCI number which you received in CAIPS as its not an official communication with CIC, you can mention the file number or only your UCI number
