Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and everyone in your family who is 18 years of age or over need to obtain a police certificate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application.

If the original certificate is neither in English nor in French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator with your application.

My letter was dated 24/10/12 and the deadline was 30 days, deadline does not mean that case will be taken up on that date. Lets hope for the best and a successful speedy process. Also best wishes to the rest who are anxiously waiting for updated docs request.

Yes bro, I agree with you. This thread is getting boring without any new updates about Document Requests or MRs. But mind that, if you call a spade a spade, people dislike it and they rate you poor. If you share something worthwhile, people just ignore it and find it difficult to acknowledge or appreciate your time and effort - a universal(?) fact applicable here too...

Normally they should send you this letter after BFD but it is 100 % sure that this is not the case as all waiters who ha received the MR OR docs request like you may receive the visa by that date.
This is my own understanding and not a guarantee for the visa

I think BFd is for visa officer while the rest is done by case worker/program assistant. Visa officer is the final decision maker in giving the visa, assumptions as none of us have worked in any VO.

Dost, don't worry...thread is alive...most forum members silently observe and only speak when there is actual updates/MR...so even if no one is writing, they still are reading so thread is alive...just wait for an update to come, everyone will come alive again

Further , I might meet Arsh in a few days...if I do, will tell our "list maker" to try n stay active since he makes the forum more lively ...but kya karein....actual "life" of the forum are "updates/MR", and at the moment they r on a hold....chalo, koi nahi...soon....

I have a question

I have to add my new born to my application. I e-mailed LVO and they sent the forms, documents and draft details. They asked me to send photo of new born.

The question is in form IMM0008 at the bottom of it, the form has the place of photo of all the family member including principal applicant. Do i need to provide the photo of all family members as per the form or only the new born baby as per the instruction provided by the LVO.
