Its better to ask for TCS tracking number if its delivered by TCS as no one will want to be flooded with calls/SMS specially when he/she is preparing for updated docs etc. my opinion.....

I hav applied for CAIPS just few days back n it will take around 30 to 40 days...I dont hav my file number as my consultant refused to provide me this information. Can anyone please tell me if i can see my file number once i recieve my caips, is it mentioned in caips?

If you dont have file number, how you applied CAIPS.. If your consultant did it for you, he may map/hide it when he will share details with you....

I don't think so as it's part of "RECENT INITIATIVES TO ADDRESS APPLICATION BACKLOGS".
