Point No. 2...

Do u really think they will spend time in an activity which is dependent on a step i.e MR? Moreover, if they have to spend time then why not after MR as in Both cases it consumes their effort & time equally. If Medicals are not up to the mark, then might this step is not required, why should they spend time in advance on such dependant step, what u say?
They will ask for PCC anyways...

Very optimistic

Hmm one thing we might witness is the increased speed of process now as they will try to clear backlogs by dec ...

One of my friend's brother got wait letter from CHC LONDON. After getting letter, they applied for the Caips notes.
In Caips notes, the VO gave him 68 marks.
Medical on file.
Asked for updated forms, RPRF etc etc.
the next B'FD date is March 2013.
Should we take this B'FD as the final stage date and hopefully every thing will finish before that date or not???
We applied for my brother who has not recieved any wait letter from CHC LONDON and even after 2 years of applying, we have B'FD date for him is April 2013.
After studying the cases of this forum, looks like that people who got wait letter, hopefully their cases will be finalize in this time frame.
YES

All the CAIPS notes of 6-12 months letter holders mention BF'date after 12 months... so why the letter says 6-12 wait.. it should have been bluntly 12 months wait... as its already 6 months for the Jan 2012 letter holders.

You know MR is valid for one year and it is evident that wait letter holders w'd not be considered for PPR this year(2012).Obviously by sending hold letter VO has overcomed the chances of re-medical as it happened in some previous cases.
Its my personal argument ,which might be on either side

Yes bro....I agree .Scenario is portraiting the similar picture .However it w'd become more clear when 'holders' would start recieving MR.Onething is frustrating , the people of our batch who recieved MR in early 2012 are not receiving PPR so for.

The IO has already ordered the stuff and send the file to the other person/deptt. he/she only has to have the final look for requesting PPR that's it, so there is no need to have too many BFD's for wasting time, that's the BFD for the final look

If I am saying the names right it's Lilia from LinkedIn Group who is saying that there may be 2 reasons for the wait letters that visa quota for LVO has exhausted and they can utilize this time conducting the background/admissibility checks

we are on the waiting list. do not worry, we would receive the MR..they would have rejected our cases, if we all had been worthless. Do u think they are creating a backlog by sending 6/12 letters intentionally in future? No, they are determined to clear the pile of files before January 2013. :)

Hmmmm right but do you think they will enter 2013 with this backlog again.. In my opinion they wont, as the current freeze on new applications is to start 2013 with new policy where they can concentrate and entertain applications within timelines, which is not possible with backlog.... My opinion, others may differ....

But after MR it's another 6 months process, how they can clear the backlog?

so why its not 12 month wait... why it says 6- 12 months wait...what was need for keeping 6?

making wild guesses sometime increase concerns. we are over-concerned here. I believe in what i have said earlier. take faith in Allah..He will do better.

Dealing the MR cases is a lesser panic than starting over a new leaf. MR is not a backlog, as compared to the applications pending reviews.

2. background checks usually take 6 months period or more depending on te cases. Thats why they have mentioned 6 or 12.. means they would wind up or take us to the final stages within that time frame. Things are moving fast, and would move faster, in coming couple of weeks. Above all, please do not cross comparison each other cases, as it would panic us, not would relieve us.
