Thanks SMSH & eemmoo1... you guys are right.. i should not delay anything if i would have been in a normal situation.. but i am in lil bit complex situation where I just wanna delay the payments. In short, i have some other plan which will be confirmed in two months time. If that is final, i may opt out from this immigration path

I know this look silly but that's what it's.

Anyway, i will write to them today giving my situation and if they respond to delay all.. that's ok with me.

Don't know about your situation, but another perspective is ... RPRF is refundable if you do not wish to use visa even after visa issuance..decision is yours

At this point this payment should be on high priority....so they should not start thinking that you don't have funds and may ask again POF

Please don't delay it and send this draft within the deadlines....

The rest is your choice if you want to take the risk....

Goodluck

Sir

You are right , but after addition of new born , they will ask for fresh POF

I think it is not a must and depends how much POF was shown before
But what we see on forum they ask most of people after addition in family members

Dear All,
I am principal applicant. I wanted to ask that me and my daughter want to land Canada earlier than my husband. He will join us after wards so my question is that can I leave with my daughter without him and do I need any sort of letter from him that he will accompany us later?
Thanks waiting for your advice.

I think u can land first while yr husband have to join u later on before the expiry of visa, however more comments required in this regard.

Follow these steps to apply as a federal skilled worker (FSW):

1. Get the application package
2. Pay application fees
You will have to pay:

a) The processing fee for you and your family members

When you apply, you need to include everyone who will come to Canada with you. This affects your fees. You can use our online fee calculator to see how much it will be.

If we do not find you eligible to apply, we will contact you and refund your processing fee.

b) The Right of Permanent Residence fee

You will need to pay this fee if we approve your application. It covers you and your partner and/or dependants, if any are coming with you. You must pay it before we will issue your permanent resident visa.

We will refund this fee if you cancel your application or if you do not use your visa.
