The good part, London office is working regardless of strike.... which is a good news for all of us.

Dear, My file was transfered to E from B nearly more then a year ago and I have two times caips notes/GCMS after this.
Both times, I have first pages as caips notes and rest of all pages in GCMS.
Just a couple of days ago, I only got an email to submit Proof of funds in 60 days.If having a E file makes process quicker, then I have already E number from more then a year and during this time, my two BFD dates have already gone but nothing happen.
E file has nothing to do with the speedy process. It is just updating your file to GCMS. My 12 months time is even over and my file has not even been transfered to Paris. I even send an email to LVO and asked that 12 months time is over and like few applicant, will LVO transfer my file. They replied that it depends on visa officer and case to case.
meray nehi khyal kay E file say kissi ko khush hona chahyey.

I see , they may ask POF from "E" file number holder :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\?

hows things with your application? still no PPR?..my agent was saying the PPR after MR usually 3-4months now for London.

PPR depend upon security check completion, if completed already then with in 4 month but if not then it may take more than six months as well, u can know about your security check with GCMS.

Not sure what's wrong with my BG checks.... Had my BFD on 07-8-13 (as per CAIPS received in July) but it passed with nothing. Although, as per CAIPS my Crimanlity clearance has been done in Dec 12 & Security checks are inprogress since 8-2-13. Sent a CSI in Aug & received response on 28-8-13 that BG checks are still inprogress.

Will wait till Sep end & then will send another enquiry. Let's hope for the best.

My BFD was 1-Sep-2013 and I couldn't received anything, whereas I sent an email to my visa officer SJM which he replied that your background checks are undergo and these are lengthy process may take month, my BG Checks are underprocess since March this year. Hope for the best

Have you submitted the PCC along with your UDR?

i thought bg will start after Med.... in your case BG start even no MR?

Yes I had submitted the PCC alongwith the UDR and according to CAIPS "No Apparent Security Concerns and SEC CRIM is 1 means passed".

Yes now they have changed their methodology and doing BG checks before medical.
