Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Dear All friends,
1. If some one looses his job and becomes Job less;
2. And because of this he moves to other city;

Should he inform the VO/CIC and what will be the imapct of these changes on his case while 3 years have already passed and waiting for MR?

@ HIZ - Per my understanding ideally you should intimate your VO about any updates - let them be job change, promotions, change in place(including city and country), change in employer, addition/deletion in family (who are dependants in your application).

I'd advice you to intimate your VO. Coz if at a later stage your VO does some background checks and finds out about your job change, it will have an adverse impact on your case.

Looks like LVO has stopped working on applications since 2012 while other visa offices are almost done with their decisions

Yes...this above para is written in the email content....in caips report, "s.15(1)" is written underneath CHC logo (top right hand corner).... some have it on all pages, some have it on page 3 only....

Asked two friends who got caips last year, and now have done MR ..one has "s.15(1)" on all 9 pages of caips , and other has it on 3rd page of caips only ....I think 15 could be related to criminality check...

But honestly, I'm not really sure what all these sections mean...just have heard from people that 15 is safe and 16 is verification chance....God knows if its true.....I never really paid attention to these "sections" till waiting man's verification case, who I noticed also had 16....so I'm not sure.

I know two more people (both forum members, both paki residents, both in canada now) who had 16 in their caips/gcms, and they both got job verification calls from islamabad, before gettin MR from Lvo. (may be all 3 of these verification cases are co-incidences, and r not a 100% proof that 16 is related to verification, but it does make u wonder).

P.s: I know everyone , who has caips, will be checking their report again now lol.

Jimmy yar hamare liye bhi tota fal nikalo aur yeh batao k when we can expect medical? As your calculated guess seems to be working so please shed some light on oct/nov updated doc request holders.

any body having any idea that how much time VO will take to update file for next step.
In perviouse Caips notes, BFD was 23 May. Verfication call was done on 3rd july.
As per SMSH advice, I will wait for atleast 60 days to go for Caips notes.
Sabar nehi ho raha hai.
Intayha ho gi meray Intazaar ki.

Is there anyone who's SELDEC 4 in their caips??


In my caips email, following line is embedded.

"The processing of your request is now complete and I am pleased to enclose the documents requested. Certain information qualifies for exemption pursuant to section(s) 15(1) International affairs and defence of the Access to Information Act."


I think this is an informative clause and nothing to worry about. It's implies that a person who's eligible to request information should also note down that some of the candidate information is sensitive and can't be disclose.. and reference of the act is given.

i guess inclusion of multiple clauses in the email is based on the tagging of sensitive attributes of the information present in CAIPS system.

e.g. if VO has put in some notes which need not to be extracted as part of ATIP request then he might be tagging that information with sensitivity attribute in line with ATI act exemption clauses. And then these clauses are being inserted automatically in ATIP response email.

Since some kind of sensitive information about the client can lead to further verification thus a person can expect all kind of possible verification e.g. interview call, job verification etc etc.

Technically, (lookin at BFD's) it should be soon bro (like within jul-aug-sep) since its high time now. They r holding back a lot of MR/PPR...wonder wat lvo is waiting for (maybe visa quota). Kher, Allah behter kare. Let's see..

Means MR was expected on your BFD but didn't happen
