Regards,

Hey Aadil, you are coming at good time when winter is almost finished and spring is about to start so atleast you won't have to face bitter and depressing winter especially in Calgary. It is a beatiful city and you won't have much issues. I hope everything works out for you.

Dear All,

I know that this job verification case had made some confusion; but I had again checked with my company boss for the status and he told me that the got call for Job verification from some person "Speaking in English ;D" as he asked that the Mr.xxx, works here... and than he asked that what job title Mr.XXX is working and than asked my boss that whats the job description... and how long I had been working in this company...

Now, let me clarify that the experience letter I submitted was issued by my boss and his signatures+contact details where there... So, that person had directly called to my boss on his mobile number....

This called had came around 5:30pm on 19th-March-2013......

So dear friends, I just want to update you guys only, not to make any problem here.... I had been following this forum from last 10 months and I had seen that people share their experiences to help others... so my intentions are same to share my experience which might help someone, to get his/her boss/HR dept. ready for any such verification at very last moment.........

AOA,

Regards,

Alhamdulilah----I received PPR2 yesterday.

Visa officer skipped PPR1 step and sent me PPR2 directly.

However, I need forum members guidance on one thing---- My passport is going to expire on 26-May-2013. I have also heard that as per international law, landing visa is not issued if your passport doesn't have a six-month's validity left.

What should I do now? Should I sent passports to IslamAbad and let them speak or should I write back to visa officer and seek his/her opinion? Following is mentioned in PPR2 instructions:

The passports must be the same as
the photocopies submitted to London in Step 1. If you have obtained new passports, then you must start
again from Step 1.

Note: I have applied for passport renewal two weeks back.

I will appreciate feedback of forum members, especially from those who have passed through such situation earlier.

congrates ashraf.....you completed your medical ?

Cool...I was discussing with 2calgary/zeeshan last month (after seeing UdR) that they might skip PPR-1....I think I wrote on forum too...anyways....good stuff :)

The odd thing is "why has he mentioned STEP 1 if he wanted to skip ppr-1 ?...I thought STEP 1 was ppr-1....so, Does he mean step 1 as full docs??hmmm...Odd...chalo..watever the case...u have PPR (whether step1 or 2)---:)

P.s: he sent full docs in july 2010.. Will get visa in april 2013....+ - 3 years theory ...shukria :) bus ap agay agay dekhtay jaen.
