Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Mine is back since last Friday (15th Feb'13) with updated postal address which I sent a month back rest all is same

r u using UCI number or file number to check the status?
Earlier it was accessible with UCI & file file number
It is strange that for some people it is working for some not....No idea why!!!

I always use UCI bcz can't access thru file number

As all have mentioned that it might be any fault in CIC E-cas system or server which I think they are resolving step by step NOTHING ELSE

Prepare your things for Canada in few months time we will have insha Allah good news for all...
Finally things are getting better....I am sure in background they are working ...
I hope once they will finish the background checks for most of us then it will be big rain of MR along with the updated documents...
but do remember that Allah saber karnay walon keh saath hai....
Any ways I was checking the home prices in Canada and it starts from CAD +100k as single bedroom

My idea is to buy a home as soon as I get a job in Canada...whatever will suit in my budget
The monthly rent and loan payments are almost same but you start saving as soon as you buy your home....
I am planning to have a home instead of a flat in a building....as I am already living in buildings for more than +10 years in UAE
What do you say all on this topic...we can have a detailed discussion on this as this will be the one of important thing to settle in Canada permanently

To check the processing times it should be from the Full Docs Submitted date and you can see analysis as follows:

No. of Months are in Green color as per below columns

Column "Q" who has received - Updated Docs Request
Column "R" who has received - Medical Request Received
Column "S" who has received - Passport Request 1 / 2

@ Jamy in White color and 27 months have passed no good news so far....
As soon as you will receive the updated docs request I will enter the date & change color to Green of you number of months will not change further...and will become static...

One more thing that If you have wait letter this means that you can send CSE after 1 year of the wait letter to check the status...
It also depends if they want to issue visas to those NOC which are in their priority list...

Noc is irrelevant now...I know someone in "electrician" category, which is in all 3 MI......yet he is also waiting with wait letter....since he applied in MI-1...and sent full docs in later half of 2010...

People like star ali (4131) got visa in 2.5 years...this noc was thrown out in MI-2...
Same is the case with togsky in your list (noc 1111, but still has PPR-1)....same for hina jamal (noc 4131, who has "un-announced" PPR-1 )

So ONLY two things matter for MI-1.....FULL DOCS date+Your Luck (when your file gets picked up)
