Surprising stuff. I remember the processing time on CIC website for London VO used to be 29 months which has now been updated recently to 31 months. How come, with all pre February 2008 applications returned and majority of MI1 backlog cleared or rejected based on the infamous job description, the processing time has increased? Seriously no clue what’s happening at London VO. :o

I seriously hope this statistics does not affect us adversely…….

From the link u gave:

"The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between October 1, 2011 and September 30, 2012."

Firstly, it is clearly written in the link u gave, these timelines represent PAST ONE YEAR, not FUTURE timelines. Further, these processing time will keep changing consistantly (every few months), as they r dependant on each visa offices' past one year performance.

Secondly,

"Processing times begin on the day our office receives a complete application and end on the day the final decision (i.e. approval/refusal) leaves our office."

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/processing-traitement.aspx?view=d

Looking at paki applicants on this forum, what I have noticed, London visa office MOSTLY takes 36 months (3years) from full documents to visa....

so this 31 months is nothing surprising....so relax bro.

Regards.

P.s: was discussing with my friend cock n bull too and this is our opinion...even with all the refusals and stuff, LVO will take their standard/usual time in most cases to give visa (about 36 months for MI-1, about 18 months for MI-2). So stay mentally prepared for it brothers :)

@ Arsh .. I think they're taking you in this class:

- Please do not make any case status requests during the next 12 months as they will not be answered

So you first need to Pass 12 months passing criteria :P
