Thank you all for the wishes. I reside in Sultanate of Oman. Yes, CIC has asked for a new Police Clearance Certificate from Oman and UAE(though I have never stayed in UAE more than 5 days, only occasional visits for business and leisure - I am trying to figure out how to resolve it - UAE will not issue me PCC as neither I have stayed there long enough nor holds their visa!!!) The mail was received by my Agent based in Abu Dhabi and they just transferred it to their local office here in Muscat along with other documents. So, not really sure how exactly they received initially. Will update here if I get to know.

Thank you for the wishes. The agent received a physical mail (not email). I am yet to collect the original set of documents from the agent. Will be doing that this evening once they open after lunch break. They just briefed me over the phone about the news and the documents to be submitted. Couldn't wait till evening to share the good news with you all. God bless.

Thank you Jamy. I am not sure if they ask everyone to update their PCC of the country they are residing. Most likely they would as per my intuition - as they want to make sure that you have not involved with any criminal activity between the time application was submitted and now!!!

So. Can u share when did u send your COMPLETE FILE to london ?

(I'm assuming u sent your FULL DOCUMENTS to london somewhere around March 2010?? Kindly correct me)

I also received my CAIPS notes yesterday, followed by a surprise today - MR. We have similar time lines. So, most likely you should be getting your MR in the next few days except if there is a postal delay. I was shocked to see that many information what they have about me are wrong!!! Starting from my DOB(at one place it is entered correctly), my Son's place of birth, my spouse and child's residing country, so on and so forth... all these can be corrected as these are data entry mistakes, BUT, ONLY IF YOU GET TO KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE DONE!!! I would advice that you make sure that all the info they have about you are right to avoid any further delay in processing.

Thanks for the information ASK . well my information is absolutely Correct and my initial application to NS was on 15-4-2010 . is it same timeline for you ?

anyway in CAIPS all the information is correct regarding my family , DOB,place etc , its just i have a concern about post system in Kuwait as last time they sent me 6-12 month letter and i never receieved any . had to request VO to send through email and then i come to know about my status. Lets hope for best mate and Congratulations for ending up long long waiting . i hope you will forget the pain after receiving this good news as the wait ending brought Good news for you .

Guess it depends on case to case. Your caips would tell for your particular case...

Cock n bull, forum member and a friend, from MI-2, who received medical last week, was only asked for 2 things: medical + RPRF....he was not asked for updated POF, updated Police clearance, updated schedule forms or IMM 008...nothing at all....just medical + rprf....yet another MI-2 applicant ADROIT was asked for ALL these things at the time of medical...so I guess its case to case...
