Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

here is what it says in the email:

-updated proof of liquid funds (equivalent to CAD 21,971)

when I sent the full documents I just sent the statement from the savings account in AED. They never objected. But lately I have seen elsewhere in the forum that a letter from bank is also required stating the balance in equivalent amount in CAD. They dint specifically ask for this in the email, so shall ask for the letter from the bank anyway, or just send the statement in AED?

it is necessary to send the POF in CAD, means equivalent to CAD, so ask your bank politely to show your AED funds equivalent to CAD, bank will not object and will do it for you. best of luck. it will save your time and will not delay your progress.

Today, Thanks to Allah, I got the Medical in email.
However in my daugther medical form, it says M in sex section. I send an email to embassy to let them know that it is my daugther and Sex must be F.
I hope that it will not delay the process or will not create any problem.
Just two questions from the forum friends.
1-Medical means that all secuity checks are being done and no more this or that except issue of visa.
2- Will there be a biometric before submitting of passport or we will be asked to submit passport by post and we will get it back by post?

it is necessary to send the POF in CAD, means equivalent to CAD, so ask your bank politely to show your AED funds equivalent to CAD, bank will not object and will do it for you. best of luck. it will save your time and will not delay your progress.

for updated POF, do I have to get a letter from the bank stating the amount of funds in CAD and attach the statement in local currency? Or is it ok to just send the statement in local currency and let them do the conversion?

There is no such requirement , only statement of bank account in any currency is acceptable

This mistake will be rectified by IOM at the time of her medical examinations , indicate this at booking counter , your first point of contact in IOM - No issues it will be rectified

2- Will there be a biometric before submitting of passport or we will be asked to submit passport by post and we will get it back by post? - By post , and it will take 04 months from now for visa issuance , if you are in Pakistan

Pls advice i have some gold items without receipts which are very old i bought it 15 years back or so i am going to include it in the list and will put todays value to it. Is it necessary to get it valued through jeweler or is it ok to mention myself i dont want to visit jeweler for this so need some experienced advice. Thanks

Procedure for this is very simple

1. Prepare Name Card for each article of gold , and write all descriptions ie name of article , its weight and current estimated value in CAD .

2. Place Name Card prepared in above , with that article and take a snap from your camera , making sure that all writings on card can be read .

3. These snaps , along with list will be submitted at Canadian Customs
