Hi,
Today, after 4 months and 2 weeks of silence I had a "combo update" in mu profile.
I submitted my application August 4 and received AOR same day without any further updates since then.
No ECAS access as well.

Today I received an from CIC and I logged to my account to see the changes, just to find the following.
1- Medicals passed
2- BG check started
3- Documents required (police certificate, Canada)

No ECAS yet.

Forget ECAS, I remember somewhere that's for paper applications.

Went through your posts in detail. I submitted my package in July and haven't heard back yet :-( Wait times of 14 months seems insane! Keeping fingers crossed and hoping that 2016 brings good news

Hi guys

I think I got my PPR today. Received an email from myCIC with subject " Ready for Visa"

Subject says that the process of PR is almost complete and asking me to send the passport and two photographs.

I submitted my package on Jul 10, medicals passed on Jul 20 and no additional document requests or communication from CIC since then. Two applicants in the PR application, me and my wife.

I received an e-mail from CIC saying that my application has been updated, I went and checked MYCIC , and indeed it says updaed on the main page, but when I click on the application and look at the status schedule, there are no changes, still :
Application : Open
Review in Progress
and the Rest is No not required now

Anyone passed through the same thing ???

Yes, I got an email also today saying my application was updated but when I checked my profile nothing changed. But I know that when you received ghost email it means that a VO is opening your file. Let's hope for an update on our file soon.

After 10 and half months waiting I received a ghost e-mail early morning today that my application has been updated, and checked MYCIC , but there is nothing updated everything is same .what is that mean .?! its a holiday and VO open my file >

Same thing. Got an email from CIC with an update, but nothing changed. Although I don't remember was my BG check status "Not Started" as it's now or "Not needed at this time".

Hmm... strange. I thought it would be a Christmas Gift and I would get all of my updates in one day like phyroms Will wait for a New Year Gift!
