I've only been in Canada for a few weeks but sadly my course isn't going too well so I don't think I'll be able to stay. I understand that as soon as I tell my university of my intentions, my study permit will be revoked. However, can I stay as a visitor? I'm from the UK and usually British citizens can stay for 6 months without a visa. I have no intentions to stay for a long period or work, I just want to visit friends and maybe travel.
If I can't stay for the normal time, how long do I have to leave the country after dropping out? And if I visit the US will I be allowed to re-enter?
