Let say a person sold his/her business and is all set for life but not presently working thus no income

Is there any way that "person" can somehow sponsor his parents?

That "person" must submit NOAs and meet annual income requirements. I don't believe that living off savings will demonstrate to IRCC that you have the minimum income required. That's an interesting scenario, though.

If this person is set for life, he/she must have substantial saving. Investment income from the saving would count toward income requirements for sponsoring parents.
