You cannot decide when your WP will start, it will start on the day your WP is issued. If you're applying from outside Canada, it will be issued the day you enter Canada.

But start date is when it was approved..it will not change and same will be mentioned on WP..we received PPR after 7 months of approval ..when they stamped they mentioned 7 month old date..
