The longggg overdue 2014 PER waiting club

Hey guys, Just saw this thread. It's amazing how one can find specific support for whichever stage of application they maybe stuck at. Am 0013, Nov 19 applicant, CC charged 15th Jan. waiting for PER. Hoping for the best for everyone here.

Hey friendz,

Just received a phone call from a friend who is writing also in the forum: ssy81 - 27th of Aug applicant. She will confirm later but I want to tell you that she has just received PER email. Obviously CIC works today and obvoiusly it is possible to receive PER after 6 months of waiting!!!!

So so so happy!!! Hope to receive more good news today!!! 8)

WOWWWWW!!!!! This is great news indeed. She must be sooooo relieved. Please tell her congratulations.

Thanks for this update Stelimeli, it means all our HOPES should be ALIVE and kicking. I'm just praying none of us have to wait that long.

An update on my application....

Application received- 22 Oct 14
CC charged -24 Dec 14.
No PER.

ECAS STATUS CAME ALIVE on Jan 19, however disappeared after a week.

I called CIC to get an update on my application. They asked for various verifications like UCI #, email address, same of spouse, date of birth of child etc.

After a long hold, I was informed that my application was returned on Jan 29. The reason is stated in the returned file. ( they didnt provide the reason over the phone.) And they said that the money will be returned in 8-10 weeks.

So there is a possibility of rejection after payment charged and ECAS status going alive....

PS-This is not to put anyone's morale low, but a helpful information for waiting applicants.

Please register for EE; CIC is currently issuing ITAs to applicants with LMIA approved jobs and Provincial Nominess(PNP), but they will eventually get to candidates outside of Canada and without these things.

My friend so sad to hear the news of your application being returned. Please don't give up on your dream to Canada. Once you get your package back and you know the reason for rejection please register your profile for EE. Wish you all the best.
