The IRCC asking for Original Passport

So I got email this afternoon asking my friend for his original passport with email letter to bring to Havana

please tell me this good news

If you did not submit the passport initially when you applied for a visa, this almost certainly (99.999%) means the visa is granted. I have never seen a case where there was a request for passport and visa was not granted. (I just can't guarantee it)

Originally the passport was not submitted when applying. They just asked for copy of the passport when uploaded online. When doing the application!

so i guess his visa will granted for him to come here to Canada.

Yes I had to look at the message ! He has been approved ! We are so happy.
