So after so many months we've finally heard from CIC that our application seems to be in its final phases. They've asked us for some additional photos and copies of my partner's passport (I'm sponsoring her) as well as some simple info.
I have some questions:
1. The expiry date for the COPR is listed as 5 days after my partner's medical expires. Does this supersede the deadline imposed by the medical or should we still make sure to arrive before the medical expires?
2. I'm assuming we need to provide everything listed in this email, but is that perhaps not the case - is it just an automated thing? What I mean is... for example, we've submitted photos before. Do we need to submit new ones?
3. Do they really want a photocopy of EVERY page of her passport and must this be sent via mail and not digitally?
4. The "Updated Information Chart" - do we just copy and paste this into a word document out of the email or might there be a pdf for us to download? And where it asks us which mailing method we'd prefer... is this for them to send the COPR back?
5. Also - weirdly, the postal address used in this email from CIC is an old one, from years ago. We did live there when earlier applying for a 1 year working visa. Should we alert CIC that they need to update this, or just put the new address on the Updated Information Chart form?
