the embassy ask my to re do my biometrics if i want to apply again for visa

Hi Guys,

I applied for my study permit on 12/03/2016 online from cic.gc.ca website .

In 15/04/2016 My request was refused

for the reasons explained below
- length of proposed stay in Canada
- purpose of visit
- current employment situation

now the embassy ask my to re do my biometrics if i want to apply again for visa ?

is that right ? the already have my biometrics

Yes, its standard procedure to give biometrics again if reapplying for visa.
