That is really strange !! today one of my friends told me that he got his citizenship, he applied under the old rules from UAE, and got his approval three years ago and he got the citizenship without even staying in canada for mor than three months.
He sent his wife and children to prove that he is living in the country, and as soon as they got the citizenship, they left the country going back to the UAE.
Believe me guys that is not the first case which i have seen in that regard. many applicants from KSA, UAE, ....and so on have the same situation since the 1980s, who get the citizenship without living in canada or even knowing anything about the country !!!!
Which kind of immigration is that !!
Is the Government of canada fooling us ! or fooling itself !
They keep saying and posting information about the background checks.......bla bla bla, and many times they delay processing the applications for that bull*censored word* reason ! and at the end, they are not able to check whether a person has stayed in the country for the required period of time to get his citizenship or not ? where is CIC, airport records,.......all of that!!
Do they really not know about those people, or they just ignore that on purpose ?
The question in other way: do they really want immigrants to come to the country and live permanently, or it is enough for them to pay your processing fees,RFPRF, some rent during the first period of time to finish your paper work procedures?
I really have no idea about the answer !! how come they are able to verify the information and background checks for applicants around the world when they are not able to to verify the period of time required from people who are supposed to be living in canada for at least 3 years before getting the citizenship (take in consideration that this verification is made from within their internal system) so no need to check with any other country because it belongs to canada only !
When the immigration officers refuse some applications justifying that (you did not satisfy me that you will be able to establish economically in canada) !
Are those people who got the citizenship without living in the country for more than 3 months able to establish economically in canada ?(take in consideration that they are not willing to live in the country even after getting the citizenship), "so what is the meaning of establish economically in canada in that case?"
What is the point of giving the approval for someone because he was very well established in another country but he is not willing to relocate to canada !!!! how do they prioritize the benifit for canada before anything else in such a situation?
I really like this country and that is why i chose to immigrate to canada, however, i have to shed some light on such a questions and enquiries that really need answers from Government canada.
