Good day everyone!
Finally!! My Permanent residence application has been approved, and I am just waiting to pick up my passport in the mail. I just wanted to share a few words.
CanadaVisa is a true lifesaver. Words cannot explain how helpful folks on this forums are. I fear to imagine what my application process would have been like without the help of @ jes_ON. jes_ON!! you really helped me a lot. I feel like I should pay you a fee for it because I could have paid a lawyer for the same type of help. 98 percent of the consultants I met where not really helpful.

Pointers for current and future applicants that may or may not be helpful
My application was a pretty unique situation
1. I applied about 9 months after my permit expired, I thought I was under implied status (I previously applied under common law but
cancelled my application to apply under CEC)
2. I didn't send my t4 for 2013 and I applied in 2014. I sent t4 for every other previous years (I never got an email demanding I send my 2013 t4 or anything else)
I Only sent t4 for the qualifying work experience years. I sent paystubs, ROE and all.
3. I sent a letter explaining why I remained in Canada after my work permit expired/explaining my T4 will be available upon request.
Timeline
4. application was received July 1st 2014 received AOR by Oct 9th
5. Medical request was recived april 29th and medical was sent May 5th
6. Request for RPRF was sent June 25th, sent payment on JUNE 30th
7. Passport request was sent July 7th. request to change visa office sent july 8th (Sent email twice!)
8. Visa office changed - july 10th
9. i sent my passport july 10th arrived july 13th (express DHL),
10. Passport ready for pick up - july 23rd
11. Landing - I don't know yet!
For new applicants! This process can be stressful but if you do the right thing and have your questions answered by the right people, you will be just fine!
Be mindful of the lawyers and consultants you choose. There are some misled and misleading consultants around. do proper research fater consultation. Good luck and I hope this helps someone somehow.
