@legalfalcon any idea about red seal certification for machinist. How to apply and where to apply and how to study for the exam? Anyone has any study material for exam for machinist.

Has anyone received such before? What does this mean? Have I sent too many webforms. I have only sent four . May be I should stop sending any webforms till my application gets approved. Also, there is action required tag on my profile now. Do I need to respond to them stating not to communicate with them till further notice? I don't know what to do.

Medicals are valid for 1 year. If you got them done in Feb 2020, then they are about to expire. You have to have a valid medical when you land in Canada. IRCC can made a determination whether to extend your meds or ask for re-med.

In your case a re-med has been requested.

For certification you will have to check the Provinces and the authorised institutions that provide the certification.

Yes, until you submit the application, you can go back and make changed to the application.

I have a work reference letter situation - I am the main applicant and I don't want to ask my current employer (HR or my manager) for a reference letter because it will cause major panic if they think I am leaving, even though I won't be leaving soon.

I'd prefer to write a LOE explaining the situation and provide supporting docs (payslips, contract, tax forms, bonus letters, appointment letter). I also have a confirmation of employment letter written by my current employer which I used when I applied for my visitors visa for Canada. I will then ask a senior colleague to write a letter explaining my duties (this won't be on the company letterhead) and include the formal job description that HR uses when recruiting for my role.

I already have 3 reference letters in the correct format from my previous employers, I'm just concerned about asking my current employer for one.

Do you think this will be enough?
