I need urgent advice, I received my 2 set of gcms.
I am qsw ,applied Aug 2017
Aor Nov 2017
Medical may 2018
Document request March and may 2018
Rprf and pcc
Background check start June 2018
Pre arrival June 2018
My question is on my notes
About my driving history I have lost 1 point because of speed in 2015 in Aus
That time I have Indian driving licence after that I lost my bag with important documents and my licence.
Then I got victorian licence,and after that I send my full driving history to canada immigration,
In my notes case officer mention about my Vic road reports and write down potinal adverse information and my criminality still in progress
Eligibility passed ,medical passed and infosharing complete
For my husband eligibility, medical, criminality and infosharing all passed by security not started for both of us .
My medical is expiring next month and all ready in 20 month..
My Indian and Australia pcc all clear .
About that potential adverse information they mention in my notes I need to do something or wait ??
Don't know what to do

MEP - 6 Feb 2019
Applicants : Me (Primary) + Spouse
No update since then. Seeing current trends, looks like we can get expect a PPR by June 2019.

a) I am planning to apply for L1B Visa for US. Our Canada EE Medicals expire only by December. So if we get PPR before going to US, would we need to inform IRCC for any changes provided we would plan our landing in Canada from US instead of India later in the year.

b) My wife plans to move to Canada with PR and start working there. I am primary applicant and I am planning to work in US for a year or two before moving to Canada. For us to keep PR status valid, both of us are required individually to cover 2 years out of 5 years in Canada? What if only she does and I dont, can she apply for the citizenship later on (which requires 3 years in canada out of 5) ?

If you change your country of residence while your application is in progress, you will have to inform IRCC. Once your application is approved, and you can land in Canada from any country.

If an individual does not meet the PR requirements, then their PR status will be revoked.

You will have to wait for a determination on your driving record from Victoria.

I did show a list but the officer told us we need specific numbers and prices and that we can submit a list during our next trip. Does that mean its over for our list of goods to follow?

It will depend on the discretion of the officer you meet at the border. If its not too many goods, they will just allow you. You can also inform the officer about what the CBSA officer informed you when you landed.

Hi @legalfalcon . My AOR is March 18 2018 my medicals expired on Feb 28, 2019. My file is in at sydney nova Scotia. CEC inland applicant. U have not yet received remedical or extension request. I have come across lot of ppl files moving after completing one year. Any idea what can be done in my case. Thanks . OlePle give in your inputs

If your eligibility is met, then most likely you are stuck in security screening and nothing much can be done about it. Usually when the meds expire, IRCC will send a re-med request when your SS is nearing an end.

@legalfalcon i received my CBSA notes and they are showing me under Security Screening since Nov 2018.

In which order is SS processed. CSIS and then CBSA or CBSA and then CSIS?

The request is sent to CBSA and CSIS together. After CSIS concludes its report, the report is sent to CBSA, which will then conclude its findings and send both the reports to IRCC.

Do you think we should send her pay stubs... now as they never asked for it and every time that we asked for an update they said the file is under review and they will let us know if they need additional information. Also, do you think it is normal for it to take two years to pass the eligibility?? Thank you so much for your time!

Two years is a very long time. You should send the paystubs and see.

Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Info Sharing: Complete

Got Ghost Update / ADR Letter on 19th Feb 2019: They requested Supplementary Information Request for Students (SIRS) Form along with Resume. I really don't understand why they requested SIRS since I have not applied for student visa nor I am currently studying.

Also Background status changed to IP2 ( We are processing your background.......) on 19th Feb 2019

Uploaded the Additional documents on 21st Feb 2019, status as of now is " Not Applicable"

Called them on 18th March, agent told the below:
Eligibility: Still reviewing whether you meet the eligibility
Security: Background verification's are currently in process
Criminality: Completed

With the above timeline, am I under Security Screening?

Your security is not yet started from your notes received on Jan 29. So I doubt that you are in SS yet.

I'm sorry to bother you and other folks on this forum, but I would greatly, immensely appreciate if you could check two of my posts #8962 and #8963 (from this Monday), and possibly comment on the RR we are facing due to PA's previous Canadian visa refusals. If I understand correctly, the Activity section in the GCMS notes should be read from the last to no.1 activity, meaning that the no.1. is the most recent activity/status/stage.
Here is what Activity section looks like in our notes, and please take notice that in No. 1 Selection-EE Econ new value is cancelled!?
What is this regarding, does that mean the application is cancelled, or some further action is cancelled, what would be that activity? Is further investigation regarding the review required status cancelled? What is going on - I'm trying to be positive, but there is no similar situation info on this forum, and I am losing hope.

If Intra Company Transfer work permit is applied as GATS: Intra-Company Transferee – Senior Manager for position Computer and Information Systems Manager (NOC: 0213) (LMIA exempt) and get approved, would it qualify the employee for 50 points (Job Offer Express Entry) after one year on work permit in Canada assuming he can provide required documents like offer letter etc?

Above link states ICT with specialized knowledge will be considered for LMIA exempt job offer points. Thats why I have this doubt.

Hi @legalfalcon . My aor27 Jan 2019. Medical clear .bio complete and Adr 5669imm was required . I have one doubt. There 1 question was whether u faced any refusal. ..... in 2009 my mom applied for canada pr and me n my bro was dependent. It got refused . But while filling I didn't mentioned it because I had no file number etc. I got married in 2013 and had no knowledge of any refusal letter.. I am so worried. Will it be misrepresentation from my side? Pls help
