by gods grace will be there...
It can. Usually a ghost update is a movement in your file, which is a god sign. In some cases, when GCMS or CBSA notes are requested, since an officer has to review it, he may move the file, and this could lead to a ghost mail.
Thank you sir for your reply
One thing more that
does it means Security screening in over and file is moving?
or it is just general review by officer to release CBSA notes .
I applied Gcms notes twice and Csis notes before but never got Ghost update??

Dear Sir,

Hope you are doing well. I just received an email from IRCC that the photos they received for PR card doesn't meet the requirements and hence, asked for two new photographs with correct specifications.

I did soft landing on Nov 4 and returned on 20 Nov. At present, I am at home. My question is, will there be any problem if I send photos from here to the CPC with present date at the back of a photo? Will it be a problem that I am not in Canada rite now and that I left Canada without PR Card?

As my sister lives in Ontario. I could send the photographs to her and she could then send it to the CPC, NS. I could mention the date before I left for Canada in writing in the back of the photo in that case.

Please advice me what is the best thing to do in this circumstance as they have given me 30 days to submit my photographs. Thank you very much in advance.

Sincerely,
Ramesh
Send a digital photo to your sister, she can take a print and send it to IRCC

Hi @legalfalcon
I have some questions about years of foreign work experience. I am trying to get maximum points for foreign work experience and I was trying to use the CRS score tool when I came to this question

"In the last 10 years, how many total years of foreign skilled work experience do you have?
It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B)"

I don't know what should my answer be.
I have 3 occupations, for which I have Experience letters.
1) Pharmacy technician (NOC 3219) for 1 year and 10 months
2) Pharmacist (NOC 3131) for 1 year and 9 months then promoted to
3) Pharmacy Manager retail (NOC 0621) for 1 year and 5 months
since the question is saying "in only one occupation" does this mean I will have to pick "1 year" ? it produces a very low score..
my job as a pharmacy manager involved working mainly as a pharmacist plus some managerial tasks and the job description is a very long list of tasks which includes almost all of the tasks of the pharmacist. can I combine my time as pharmacist and pharmacy manager and put them all under pharmacist NOC 3131?
It is asking for total work experience. You need at least 1 year of full time work experience in one NOC, and you can add other NOCs in which you may have worked to get all the experience points.

In this question answer the max experience you have in one NOC.

Hi LegalFalcon, it's been 17 days since we got Remedical Passed and are still waiting for our PPR. As per recent cases from HK VO, the average time of getting PPR after remed passed is about 3 days-1 week. So we're very frustrated and anxious... Could you please kindly suggest what we should do now? Should we raise a CSE?
YEs, raise a CSE and see what the delay is. Also, this is the time when things are slow anyway. So be a little patient.

No one can be sure what the Ghost update is for. The only way is to see the date on the GCMS or CBSA notes and see what triggered it. It can range from change of VO to update on your file.

Hi Legalfalcon,

One query pls.
I have submitted details of fixed deposits along with my eApr and now in next month my FD is going to be matured and I need to renew it.

1. Do I need to share new FD number with cic along with explanation of it??
2. If yes, then would it be via web cse form?
3. Would this delay my app processing in anyway?

Thanks in advance @legalfalcon
1. not required.

This is the most inaccurate advice. Each company has its own format. Also, each format is based on your individual circumstances. Merely copying the formats will land you in troubled waters and raise doubts on the authenticity of your profile.

I completely agree, it’s for them to have an idea because most of the times people are completely clueless about where to start and the content of the letter. It is definitely not for anyone to copy and use but to get and idea and then make changes as per their own requirement which is what I have mentioned there . Please advise any changes to that.
Thank you legalfalcon and pursuit_of_happiness for your guidance. I will surely modify with the appropriate content, I just wanted to see a sample template for reference.

1) yes

2) For any documents related to work ex should be in your work history. Not sure what your question is.
I am not availing points for my work experience from 2010 to 2013 and hence do not have an option to upload that in work history

I am not privy to your documents, so can't say much. As long as you are hones in your PR application, I don't see a reason why you should not be eligible.
Thank you for your reply @legalfalcon . Do you recommend that I work with consultant to help me with my EE application? Since I am in removal proceedings in USA.

Hi @legalfalcon
Merry Christmas :)
I am so confused whether I should apply through EE or not because of my qualification and experience. I am working as a preschool teacher for 6 years but my education does not match with educational requirements mentioned on CIC website. I have done BBA in Finance and PGP in Finance. I have read that teaching is regulated profession in Canada and certificate from province is required.

Employment requirements
Early childhood educators
  • Completion of a two- to four-year college program in early childhood education or a bachelor's degree in child development is required.
  • Licensing is required in Ontario and certification is required in British Columbia for early childhood educators. Licensing for early childhood educators is usually required in all other provinces and territories.
I am concerned that will my PR Application be rejected on the basis that my education does not match with employment requirements in NOC 4214 - early childeducators and assistants.

There is another subcategory in NOC 4214 of Early childhood educators assistants, shall I apply through this?

Early childhood educator assistants
  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience in child care is required.
  • Completion of an early childhood education assistant certificate program or post-secondary courses in early childhood education may be required.
  • Licensing by a provincial or territorial association as an early childhood educator may be required.
Please advise. My score after ECA will be 444
