Aor 6 April 18,Security Screening for my husband from 18 May 18.
Rest everything is passed in case except criminality of my husband and he is slotted for Security screening.
Sir ,Can you clear my doubt that can applying for CBSA notes trigger ghost updates.I applied For CBSA notes from getgcms.com on 20 nov 18 And exactly after one month on 20 dec I got an update,

Do you think there is a progress in case ??or it is related to applying CBSA notes.?

It can. Usually a ghost update is a movement in your file, which is a god sign. In some cases, when GCMS or CBSA notes are requested, since an officer has to review it, he may move the file, and this could lead to a ghost mail.

It would be really helpful if you could let me know how I can proceed with this situation,

In my newborn's birth certificate (BC), there is an error (Mother's place of birth is incorrect). All other details of the child in the certificate are correct. I have requested for a correction which would take at least three weeks time. And I wouldn't be able to apply for the passport until I get the corrected BC.
Could you kindly let me know if I can submit the application by uploading the old BC and explaining the same in a LOE ?
or should I wait until I get my corrected BC and passport, I am not sure if i would have enough time for that ?
Also, I have medical appointment in two weeks, can I go ahead with that ?

Yes, you can upload the old BC with the proof of filing or correcting it, and an affidavit.

I have received remedical request after being in security screening, and there is an attached form IMM1017E along with the request letter.
I took that form to the doctor and he kept it, however I'm wondering if he has to fill it out then I will send it back to my local visa office as proof of medical exam or not.
The doctor is eMedical enabled, and he has already sent to his report via the eMedical system and gave me a copy of it which I have taken to LVO instead of form IMM1017E.

Please tell me what you suggest and if form IMM1017E must be submitted to my LVO.
I have check yesterday and the medical was passed.

If you have an upfront medical sheet, then you can upload it and inform the LVO that the medical is done. they will match the UMI and add it to your file.

I just wanted to thank you again! Just a quick update. I had sent my documents as advised and actually I did get a quick reply, by email, from my local embassy with the renunciation of the previous (expired) PR card. I had uploaded it in my CIC profile (and got the official document by regular mail afterwards) and today I received ready for visa mail. So thank you again for all your help!

She received the WES evaluation for Bachelors and Mcom. For Bachelors her equivalence is Bachelors however for Masters her equivalence is one year post graduate diploma.

So in education will be it be just Bachelors or will it be "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be a program for three years or more"

I am in a huge dilemma and hope some of you can provide some expert advice.

My score is 441, and I am sure I will be receiving an ITA.
But the problem is that I had applied as legally separated. We have been separated for about 4 years already. She had also told me that she was ready to sing the uncontested divorce. But now all of a sudden she doesn't want to do that and told me to do whatever on my own.

There is also zero chance of getting a police certificate for her. We are basically not going to get back together. It's just that she is trying to complicate the matter (divorce) for me. Also, she doesn't know about the Express Entry.

Should I quickly file for a divorce on my own?
Or, should I just forget about responding to the ITA?

This will depend on your country and the laws. You only have to show that you have filed for divorce, and not that the divorce has been finalised. As long as you can show the filing of the divorce petition, your application will be processed, or else you will be asked to provide the PCCs, passport and meds for your spouse.

@legalfalcon I am currently holding a post graduate work permit and it is going to be expired till 23 February 2019. I will apply a 6 months co-op program in order to lengthen my legal status in Canada. Meanwhile, I could also get half year of internship after 6 months study(The 6 months internship is part of the program requirement). Is that possible I can apply for my Co-op worker permit since I have already had 3 years post graduate work permit expired. The only concern is that whether I am able to apply a co-op work permit because I doubt that I am not eligible for my co-op work permit as I have heard of someone saying that you can only get one work permit in your lifetime. would 3 years work permit affect to apply my co-op work permit? please let me know about my situation. This is the most inaccurate advice. Each company has its own format. Also, each format is based on your individual circumstances. Merely copying the formats will land you in troubled waters and raise doubts on the authenticity of your profile.

I completely agree, it’s for them to have an idea because most of the times people are completely clueless about where to start and the content of the letter. It is definitely not for anyone to copy and use but to get and idea and then make changes as per their own requirement which is what I have mentioned there . Please advise any changes to that.

Also, do you have any idea about why all the notes are mode by CIO only and not LVO, even though the applicationw as transferred way back in september and the last updated date it shows is november 5 , highlighted in the link below

If you have answered a statutory question, it will always be a review required, where the assistant or the program assistant will defer the final decision to the officer. In some cases when you answer yes to a statutory question, it needs additional security checks. But, this is a normal thing, nothing to worry about.

The application can be processed anywhere, CIO or LVO. The application is sent to the LVO only during eligibility or later.

I have submitted details of fixed deposits along with my eApr and now in next month my FD is going to be matured and I need to renew it.

1. Do I need to share new FD number with cic along with explanation of it??
2. If yes, then would it be via web cse form?

Yes, usually a re-med is issued when you are about to end the SS, or have already the SS is completed.

1) In Address history, i do not remember the address of one of the PGs I stayed at for 8 months in Gurgaon during my job in 2010. Shall i just mention the area name in the address? In this case shall i mention this in LoE?

2) For LoE, i will keep the letter short upto 2 pages, but is it advised to add additional documents? Shall I add supporting documents of work ex which is part of personal history?

2) For any documents related to work ex should be in your work history. Not sure what your question is.
