Hi @legalfalcon
Please give me your view.
I was declared as unaccompanying on my spouse’s express entry profile. My spouse received PR last year. Now i am planning to apply for express entry instead of spousal sponsorship.

What is the answer to “ have u applied to ircc/express entry in the past?”
I was evaluated for criminality and medicals as per the requirement and i have a UCI number.

Thanks in advance!

Dear sir:
Thank you for all your help and guidance. I got PPR mail last night.
Do you happen to know how long does the Mexico VO take to stamp and send COPR?
Congratulations! Usually it takes 2-5 weeks. However it will depend on the workload of each VO.

Hello LegalFalcon,

Could you please guide me what we can do here.

We ordered GCMS notes and received in 1st week of September. We are worried about the case analyst review :
Text:
REVIEW TYPE: Case Analyst APPLICATION:E0002504025 REGULATION :pNP:CEC, 2017-01-20
I have verified this application under Section 11.2 of the immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and
make the following determination. RECOMMENDATION:*** Review REQUIRED by Officer *** Ready to Finalize-------------------------
CIVIL STATUS:pA (SHAH,*****), MARRIED SPOUSE/CL(SHAH,****), ACCOMPANYING----------------------------
INTEGRATED SEARCH(FOSS/GCMS): PA(SHAH,****)In Status-WP Valid Until: 2017-05-20-------SPOUSE/CL(SHAH,***)Not in Status-------
Additional Notes In implied status. WP-EXT(received 2017/07/05) in progress. No final decision at this time.-----------
WORK EXPERIENCE(S):Qualifying Period:From 20JAN2014 to 21JAN2017 1) MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR-(NOC 1123)2014/05 to 2015/05 at ****COMPANY LOE Salary $28500.
Submitted letter(S) of reference 2015/07/20 and 2016/09/18 which is are assessed as follows: EDOCS NUMBER(S): 12053512 and 12019593
The dutied listed in the letter(s) of the reference appear to be consistent with the actions in the lead statement under the NOC code selected.
The letter(S) of the reference appear to be the consistent with a substantial number of the main duties under the NOC code selected. The letter(s) of the
reference appear to demonstrate that the PA met the minimum requirement of 12 months of work experience. ADDITIONAL NOTES: XXX COMPANY and XXXX COMPANY appear to
be the same employer(sister company). See eDoc 12105387. In her application, the PA appears to have indicated two separate work periods with this company,
which appear to account for PA's Vaction. PA was on vacation from 2015/08/01 to 2015/11/01 (eDoc 12038752). The LOEs do not indicate any break in employment.

PA's education backgound apears to be in Medical Science Technology and Labtechnology(eDocs 120604586 and 12087620). Paystubs and CRA NOA provided.T4 slip provided(eDoc 120246831).

From the above there are two things which are of concern and only after you provide me with some background, can I comment further:
1. SPOUSE/CL(SHAH,***)Not in Status - What is the status of the Wpm extension.
2. Vaction - The vacation listed above, if this period is taken out, does it impact your eligibility?

Dear Sir,

I have a question to ask and I will be happy if you can help out. I am claiming point for a work experience from 2011 to 2014. During this time, I worked in a very small company (A one-man business). I have my employment letter, confirmation letter and about 6 months last payslip for this job. . My salary was small and I was paid in cash and I was only given payslips. I understand that some VO's now request for bank statement showing salary payment. I don't have this. I only submitted a reference letter in the CIC format from my former employer in my E-APR. Please what can be done in this case if the VO request for it. I am quite worried. Thanks.
If you do not have the bank statement, which anyway is too old to be retrieved, you can inform IRCC that you were paid in cash and never deposited the amount in the bank. Not to worry.

Hi!

Many people change the province and I don't think there is any real legal ground for them to bug you about it. We all did sign a statement saying our intention is to stay in the the province that nominated us, but if there are better opportunities for you elsewhere... I think you should be good.
If an applicant was nominated by a Province, the applicant cannot leave the Province without a compelling reason. If the applicant does, the applicant can be subject to revocation of his PR and denial of citizenship down the line.

The reasons when the applicant is justified in living the province have been listed by me and are available here:
https://www.getgcms.com/blog/understanding-provincial-nomination-pogram/

Please do not make sweeping statements, "I don't think there is any real legal ground for them to bug you about it," without looking into the legal consequences.

Hello LegalFalcon,

I applied for Express Entry with nomination from Ontario. My AOR is Jan 2017. According to my GCMS note I passed eligiblity, criminality and medical for now.

I just realized that I have left out information regarding some of my volunteering activities and University club membership for both OINP and Express Entry form. I have completely forgotten about them and I found out about them after going through some of my old e-mails. All the volunteering activities were for 1 day only except for one which is like for a month. One volunteering activity was planned by my High School and the rest were planned by companies I worked at. The 1 month volunteering one I volunteered on my own. All of the volunteering organizations are well recognized organization globally. The University I went to is in Canada so not sure if that helps. There were total of 5 volunteering activities and two club membership. I don't remember the exact joining and end dates either. All of these activities were based in Canada except for the High School volunteering.

I immediately e-mailed the visa office as well as raised CSE regarding this matter and explained everything. I mentioned what I submitted earlier was to the best of my knowledge and I had no intention to not submit this information. They do not affect my eligibility for OINP or change Express Entry score either. Am I gonna be charged with misrepresentation? Will my application be rejected for this?
This has no bearing on your application an even if you would not have raised the cSE, there was no concern.

Hi Legal.....I have one more question..... Does CEC Outland applicant need to show the Proof Of Fund ???????
Well, I have already provided them the Proof Of Fund but asking you just for my knowledge............Because on the cic.gc.ca website they mention that "You do not need to show POF if you are invited under Canadian Experience Class (CEC)" ........
If you are a CEC applicant PoF is not required, however, IRCC has the discretion to ask.

Congratulations on the PPR.

IF your Passport is not valid for 12 months, you can renew it and send the renewed one. Alternatively, you can seek additional time to renew. This is because the visa which will be issued will always be related to one of the following:

  1. one year from when your medicals were issued;
  2. date on which the passport of the primary applicant or any of the accompanying dependents will expire.

If your passport expires within the next few months, it will impact the duration of the visa, within which you have to land in Canada.

When you file any application, prior immigration violations are checked if they are recorded, this is to access against potential overstaying when on a non-immigrant visa.
