Thank you very much legalfalcon.

One last concern, so staying permanently in my home country means that I have started working here with no intend to go back to Canada in the meantime, is that right? or it is limited by the time I spend continuously in my country out of Canada?
It is your intention. If you intend to reside in a specific place for the foreseeable future, then you must inform IRCC off the change.

Hi legalfalcon,
my sister holds a PR but she stays with her husband so the lease and utility bills are on his name. How do I show that she resides there in this case? Please advise..
She has her bank card though and a credit card.
what document should i use?
If she has a bank card and a credit card, those statements with her address will be fine. She can ask the bank to issue a latest statement with her current address. Her address should also be on her driving license.

Hi Legalfalcon,

Thanks for your contribution to the forum!

I'm a FSW-Inland applicant and my passport is expiring towards the end of March. As I'm already in Canada, does the minimum 6 month passport validity rule apply to inlanders as well?
Yes

I was wondering as there would be no physical stamp on my passport.
That does not matter.

This is the one. The CRS is recorded in your GCMS when you are given an ITA and again when you submit your application. Te notes above is of the AoR, there will be another note with a calculated CRS similar to this one.

Hey @legalfalcon! I am at BGC - We are processing your BG check. We will message..... Is the final review done by Visa Officer at this stage or it is pending?? Can u pls let me know what process is still left to be done??
AOR - 29 April
Meds passed - 22 June
BGNA - 23 June
Addn docs not required - 1/2 Aug
BG IP2- 22 Aug
This is the BGC, after it is complete, and the BGC report is in, a final review is done before the PPR is issued. That does not take too long.

Hi legalfalcon,

I have a query regarding transfer of funds, after landing in canada.
During landing, i am planning to show my(primary applicant) bank statement from home country as POF.
Currently i am in my home country. My bank insisted that the physical presence of the account holder is necessary to do wire transfer to a bank in another country.
So my bank suggested me to give a post dated cheque to my mother (who will be present in my home country), having another account in the same bank, so that she can encash the cheque into her account, and bank can do a wire transfer from her account to mine (in canada). Bank told me to send an email request for the same, after opening an account in canada.
My Concerns Are:
1.Is it necessary to do a wire transfer directly from primary applicant's account in home country to account in canada.
No, the funds can be wired form anyone's account. After you land, you will be a PR, and you have all rights to open a bank account, send and receive funds and do anything a citizen would.

2 If the money is transferred from my mother's account, will that be an issue later...(bank informed me that there is no other way to get my fund transferred, since i don't have an address proof in canada).
Not at all. There will be no issues. If you are an Indian citizens, as per Indian law parents can send money to their children abroad, so nothing to worry, and in Canada, you can get money wire transferred from across the world. Please be advised that wire transfer may take a few weeks time. So it is better to have some funds with you instead of just relying on wire transfer.

Please guide me on this.
Thank you for all your help.

The thing is, my employer didn't give the proof of employment in the IRCC format so I got one signed from my manager.
Will it be Ok if I get a new reference letter signed from my manager and submit the proof of employment details again via CSE..all the details including the new reference letter?
Yes

My application is in eAPR/AoR state and medical hasn't passed yet. I can make the job duties updated as suggested by you and send a request to CSE for this.
Will it do any good for my case and decrease the possibility of rejection?
That depends on the officer concerned and the reasons you provide for an updated reference letter

Kindly guide.

SS usually shows up when eligibility is in progress and has been reviewed by at least a case analyst. The best way to see is to find if your BGC and FOSS search has started.
As per notes from case analyst on integrated search(foss/gcms) : no trace found other than present appl. Is that where i can see info about FOSS? Where as security was not started.
With that is dr any possibility to get ss at this stage? My new notes will arrive after 30 days so looking fr the clarity on possibility of ss.bg status in profile is NA since april( rprf req)

Hi

I have been in NA2 status since 5th July. Last week my file moved to SGVO still it's showing NA2.It's been almost 90 days from my AOR date.I am FSWO.

I was wondering if ordering GCMS will help anyway. Also I want to know if there is any reason for the delay.

@legalfalcon should I order? Will it be good if I do?

Dear Legalfalcon,

I will be extremely grateful if you could help me in making the right decision. I am looking for an expert opinion whether me or my Wife should be the Primary Applicant. Following are our credentials:-

Me:-
Age: 35 Years
IELTS R9 L8.5 W7 S7.5 (13th May 2017)
Education : 2 Years Bachelors of Science Degree (Equivalent to Post Secondary Diploma- no ECA Yet)
Experience : 13 Years as Air Force Air Traffic Controller (Resigned 1 Year ago -all employment evidences Available )

Wife:-
Age: 31 Years
IELTS: R8 L8 W7 S8 (13th May 2017)
Education : 3 Years Bachelors of Science + 1 Year MBA ( ECA awaiting Evaluation from IQAS)
Employment Experience: Financial Control Officer (4 Years) (Employment Letter, Reference Letter and Payroll Ledger available but payment made in Cash)

Kids:
1. Son 5 Years
2. Son 3 Years

I have following concerns here:-

1. My Wife being the Primary applicant. Should this be an issue?
2. Wife's Employment Evidences , since payment was made in cash.
3. Could my Military Experience become a cause of delayed processing in any way?

Thanks.

@legalfalcon And it won't create any problem if I am submitting updates to my documents via CSE post last date of my eAPR date?
Technically I was suppose to submit my eAPR request by/before Aug 16.

Hi @legalfalcon ,

Post-AOR, I received an additional document request, basically to upload 3 police certificates.

For two of them, the deadline is 29 August 2017, which is fine, I have them ready. However, for the other one (Singapore, which requires a request letter from IRCC and process is pretty long), the deadline is 22nd October 2017.

I have already uploaded the two first police certificates in the corresponding placeholders. The last one, I do not have it yet (applied) and IRCC gave me the time to obtain it.

My problem: after uploading the two police certificates, the status of the placeholders changed to "document uploaded, not submitted to IRCC". In my understanding, if I want to meet the August 29 deadline and submit both police certificates to IRCC, I have to click "next" at the bottom right of the page, which leads me to the "PR documents checklist" and my signature.

If I proceed to submit the final application without the last police certificate, I assume my application will be rejected because would be incomplete. However, if I don't submit it before August 29, IRCC might say I did not respect the deadline to submit two out of 3 documents.

What to do? Appreciate any advice you may have.
