@legalfalcon my friend has received his GCMS notes his criminality is passed and info sharing is complete, but in the last section of police certificates it is written Review required - pending Biometrics RCMP results & PC review.

So if criminality passed why is this status.

All the things are complete only security is not started.

Principal Applicant is X
Sponsor is Y

Sponsor got divorced with Z and had child A with Z (Now child A lives with Z who has his full custody) while PR was in progress of Y (under express-entry FSW, he had provided child A’s medical to IRCC). 4 years back Y also landed successfully in Canada as PR.

Now after Y got married to X (2nd marriage). Does Y need to provide medicals of A (A is not in his custody) ?

Assuming A never landed and is not a PR, then yes, my understanding is that it will be required. Happy to hear from others in case I'm wrong though.
