@legalfacon, my aor is 6th February but I just remembered that while filing my application I included in education history my bachelors and spouses academic credentials that were not evaluated. I answered no to ECA for all these as I wasn't claiming points for them.
I'm only claiming points for masters which I evaluated with WES. I read on some blog that non-evaluated credentials should be in personal history.
Do I raise a cse to explain i am not claiming points for those credentials?

Hi @legalfalcon
I applied for a student permit visa on 1st July 2019 and after 8 months, there is not any update in my application process, however, I submitted a lot of webforms that I received patient template from IRCC Ankara.
I requested a GCMS note on 29 Dec 2019 and I received it on 31 Jan 2020, which included as follows
Criminality: Passed-Bio,
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not started
In this note, there was no additional detail. I do not have any sensitive work experience and project.
Does my case has a chance to be accepted? How long does it take to issue my correspondence letter?
Thanks

All information has to be listed in personal history, which includes your education time periods even for which you are not claiming any points. Only in education section, you will enter the education details of the degree for which you have an evaluation and claiming points.

Thank you so much for your replay. I have attached the link of my note:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VjXATicMDj3sB7uee9IpPul_4AAXHqUO/view?usp=sharing

Please guide me about my application. As I mentioned I have waited about 8 months and I become increasingly worried.

Link of officer's note as same as above paste link: Officer note

I can't review your enquire notes. I you have a specific questions, or a note that you do not understand, please feel free to ask that. Please do not post a bunch of pages and ask is everything is fine.

My questions are that after receiving my Eligibility,
1. How much do I have a chance to be accepted?
2. How long does it take to process my security after the eligibility step (approximate time)?
3. As can be seen in my note, the officer said that " LOA and fund reviewed and satisfactory. I am satisfied that the applicant is a genuine student." So, what doy think about prolonging my process?
4. Why there are not any additional details or comments on my note? There are only yes/no and short answer?
5. What should I do to follow up more quickly on my application however I submitted a lot of webforms? (because my visa is study permit and 8 months is too long and unusual)

Thank you for your efforts.

Hello @legalfalcon , i would appreciate if you could please clear the following doubt. my 2nd year work anniversary is in April, but the points for it got added to my CRS score in March itself and due to the score increase from 450 to 473,i received ITA in the last draw. While i have read a lot of conflicting views on this, i would really appreciate if you could provide your opinion also. Should i decline the ITA or should i go ahead and submit the e-APR making sure that i do that after the 2nd year anniversary? Have you come across cases where someone did the latter and got refused?

Thank you for your efforts.
1. If your eligibility is passed, you are 90% done, subject to security. Eligibility is the most important stage.
2. The average time for security is 2-6 weeks. However, for applicants who are in enhanced security screening, it can take considerably longer. If you are applying for a TRV (student visa), then the security should not take long.
3. I will not speculate. The note means exactly what it states.
4. Most notes are brief and to the point. Details are mentioned where required.
5. Webforms and calling IRCC is what you can do. Some applications do take longer than others.

2nd yr anniversary is on 3rd april. ITA received on March 4th
To calculate the work experience, IRCC used the following rule:

Calculating work experience for FSW

Work experience can be calculated by:

  • adding up the number of continuous weeks of full-time (or equivalent in part-time) paid work (i.e., 30 hours/37.5 hours per week in one full-time job, a combined total of at least 30 hours/37.5 hours per week in more than one part-time job,
  • 15 hours per week in one part-time job over a period of two years, etc) in one or more skilled occupations at Skill Type 0 (Managerial occupations), Skill Level A (Professional occupations) or B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of NOC 2011.
Note: Work in excess of 30 hours/37.5 hours of paid work over a period of one week cannot compensate for less than one year of full-time work experience.

It is the number of weeks, and not days that matter.

This means that when i received the ITA, i was short of 4 weeks to actually complete my 2 yrs full time work exp. As suggested by some, its safe to submit the application after I complete the 2yrs, that is after 3rd april as the experience lockin date is the AOR date. What is your opinion @legalfalcon ?

The rule of thumb is that what you declare in your profile, you have to meet it in your application, which includes your work experience. If you do not meet that, then your application will be refused.

yes, the tricky part is i did not meet when I received the ITA but will meet when i submit the e-Apr.
