Hi Legal falcon,

Hope you are doing well ! I have a very basic question for you...
I have a permanent full-time job offer and i am planning to apply for Ontario Immigration Nominee Program under Employer Job Offer Category : International Student Stream.

However, i am thinking this stream does not come under express entry as there are only two current streams right now under EE.

Therefore, my question is, if i the nomination for the employer job offer category, do i get additional 600 CRS points ? And if not, then is there any other program/procedure through which i may be eligible to apply for my PR with this nomination.

Thank you for your time. Looking forward hearing from you!

@legalfalcon, I got your reply in the telegram chat room, but here’s my follow-up question. I am an FSW outland applicant.

My salary structure is fairly complicated. Although the reference letter does mention most of the sources of my pay, still the amount written in the letter is the base salary that’s below the country’s typical minimum wage when considering hours worked per week. Instead I get performance-based pays and bonuses. These are written in the reference letter but not the exact amounts.

I have already submitted the work reference letter with four monthly paystubs. These paystubs don't show any performance-based pays or bonuses because I didn’t receive any in those months, although the reference letter mentions that those sources of extra payments exist. Will it be helpful to update IRCC by providing additional paystubs, or is it unnecessary since there's no minimum wage requirement in the first place? I’m just worried if this could be the basis of rejection.

Thank you very much for your time.

Hello Legal,

Please I need some help here if possible,

GCMS received: 4/7/2018

Based on the CIO: R10 OK, A11 meet (Last pages of notes)
file transferred to LVO before January 17, 2018 as that's when I got reply to my email that the file had been transferred to LVO

under APPLICATION:EXXXXXXXXX
Create Date 2017/04/12
Created by:YYYYY
Update Date 2018/01/15
Updated by:XXXXXX
Primary office:my country's LVO
Secondary office: Centralized Intake Office

Under Assessment (Page 2 of GCMS notes) it states:

Eligibility: Not started
Security: Not started
Criminality: Not started
Medical: passed
Info Sharing: In progress

Under CLIENT DETAILS

Info Sharing: Not started. However for my wife it says Completed.

Under INFO sharing
INFO SHARING: 1
Family name: my name
Type: Biographic
Partner: USA
Status: Not started
Due date: 2018/01/17
Info sharing 2:
Family name: my wife’s name

what could be the issue with my case as I'm still stuck in IP1?
Why info sharing has not been completed in your opinion.
For your info, I used to Live in the USA before.
Thank you for your assistance on this request

Hi @legalfalcon,

Apologies if you have answered this question already somewhere.
What are your thoughts on those cases that moved to IP2 on 27th Feb? (I am one of them and haven't received my notes yet). Was that a legitimate change or a glitch, and do you think these cases will be finalised soon?

Thanks in advance

I was doctor in govt. hospital in India. Am I a government employee? If I mark activity type as government in personal history then am I predisposed to being asked for ADR? As of today my activity type is marked as employment is personal history. Do I change it to government? Is there a chance for my application to be rejected for choosing an incorrect activity type?

You should have explained this in LoE, just so that it is clear. No need to worry, raise a CSE and send it now.
Dear Sir, hope you are well. Thank you so much for your advice once again. I raised the CSE and got the confirmation that it has been passed to the concerning office. I believe my application is in IP1 stage at the moment like lots of other from March AOR. I was going through a thread and something caught my attention.

While filling up my personal history, I mentioned about my second degree for which I don't have ECA. I didn't include it in my EE profile obviously. However, I didn't mentioned about it in my LoE and include the degree certificates, that I do not have ECA hence didn't include it in the EE profile. Further more, I worked in a hospital from September 2010 till August 2015 full-time/part-time depending on my work limit while attending college. I didn't claim points for it either as it falls under NOC category C. However, I did mention that in the personal history but breaking it down in two timelines. To be specific,

Work in hospital Jan 2015 - Aug 2015
MBA Feb 2012 - Jan 2015
Work in hospital Sept 2010 - Feb 2012

Some senior advised me to not overlap the time line while filling up forms for e-APR and hence I did the same. Now after going through the Reasons for Rejection Thread, I read that you could overlap just cannot have a gap. Should I be worried that I didn't mention about the MBA and work at the hospital in the LoE and that I didn't claim points for them? Is there any chance of rejection because of that or even misrepresentation for mentioning hospital job in separate timeline just to not overlap? Please let me know if I should raise another CSE or just wait if additional documents for MBA or hospital job is requested! Your advice is highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Dear Sir,
I just received my Indian Police Clearance Certificate and it states that "...this certificate will not render me ineligible for the grant of travel facilities including visa for Canada"
Will this certificate work for Express Entry application for permanent residence?

That should be fine, but like you said, personal history and even work history can have overlaps.

You didn’t message me about this ;)

Hi Christy, thanks. What about not having LoE for second master's without ECA and work experience at hospital? I didn't cos you were going through your own bit of struggle with waiting for PPR ;) At first I did overlap and showed it to senior members and I was advised to not overlap. I am mostly concerned about not having LoEs second master and hospital job.

If you didn’t claim points from the second master’s, you don’t need to add LOE for that as well as the hospital work, which I understand is not included in the work history.

You can always ping me or the other Nepali if you have any question and will be glad to answer :)

Thank you so much Christy. No I have not included in the work history for experience that I didn't claim points. Things are rather slow at IRCC. I reckon for now IRCC is giving priority to CEC applicants as well as applicants from the US. It's been 40 days since my AOR, wondering if I should order my GCMS notes. I believe it is better to order after at least 2 months! What do you think? I will be anxious until my eligibility is passed. Have a good day.

Yes, you can order GCMS but I suggest you order after 60 days. I really never saw any significant change/update until my IP2.

My application was already approved but still ordered my last set of notes out of curiosity what happened during IP2 to approval :D
