Your aggregate experience would amount to 28 months (12 months of full time and 16 months of full time equivalent part-time work). All of this assumes that you can get reference letters for the same. Skilled work experience

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),

at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).

Full Time

30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
Part time

15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
OR
30 hours/week for 12 months at more than one job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

Okay but there is nothing on that web page that suggests part-time is calculated on the actual number of hours worked.

My inference from the above data is part-time work experience is calculated at 15 hours per week (if working only one part-time job) and if working 2 part-time jobs, it is calculated at 30 hours per week.

So, this means if they are working part-time for 2 years, it means they would have gained an equivalent of 1 year work experience. This is my understanding.

Could you kindly explain/provide resources that might suggest otherwise. Just trying to get a concrete understanding here.

What is the 'overall equivalency' per your report?

I have my ECS done for my diploma in E&C and then B.E with one year exemption.
So in my ECS Report shows Canadian Equivalency as Secondary school diploma and diploma (two years) for my Diploma in E&C
and for my B.E ECS Report shows Canadian Equivalency as Bachelor's Degree (Four years).

The Canadian Equivalency summary shows Bachelor's Degree (Four years).

When I enter my education details in my EE profile what option should I select for my diploma?

a. Secondary dimploma (high school graduation) or
b. two- year program at university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute.

Hello Asivad,

I have submitted my eApr on 16th November with a Bank Letter stating all "Term Deposits" in tabular form.
But it doesnt mention that "Term Deposits" are readily encashable (which is the case )

Its like:
Deposit Number Principal Amount Maturity Amount Start Date End Date

I have not submitted the Term Deposit Certificates where its mentioned that pre-mature withdrawal is allowed with a penalty of .5%.

1> Will my eAPR be rejected ?
2> Should I raise a CSE and submit Stamped Term Deposit Certificates(multiple) as well ?
3> Can I add attachments while raising CSE
4> Is there a email address where I can attach and send these documents ?

Your visa will be void once your landing is complete. Your COPR will be stamped and given to you. Until you get your PR card, you should use the stamped COPR as proof of status.

I have 1455 hours part time on a first contract ending the day before a second contract starts.
The second contract covers 1470 hours as a full time in the same job and company.
Now according to your experience and info do you think this is a continuous work of 1560 or not?
here is their comment on my work experience:
"The information gathered from the application and other supplementary evidence indicates that you may not have a minimum of one year of continuous employment in the specified NOC occupation."

Please help me figure out this as I have only 3 weeks to reply them.

See, "continuous" experience is subjective and it all depends on the officer who assess your case. Some officers might be lenient enough to consider a week's gap while others might not even consider a gap of one day.

Could you please explain more about your situation. Which stream did you apply under? I am also assuming when you say Procedural Fairness Letter, you received it from OINP.
