Dear Asivad,

Please can you tell me...how far I am from PPR? I am worried and many of the people I noticed in 4-5 months they got PPR...since the BC now running quite fast and also the processing time.

I will highly appreciate your reply.

Thx in adv.

Thanks asivad +1. Really really appriciate and i m lmia applicant so question about POF is that nessesary? or what you think asivad can i take this a positive sign...before me my employer got a call too...?

If you have an LMIA supported job, you are exempted from POF but the officer might have wanted to clarify something because you did attach bank statements with your application. This is not necessarily a positive or negative sign - CIC is ultra sensitive about LMIA aplicants and it is normal for them to make inquiries while processing the application.

All the best!

Hello Avisad,
I was checking mycic account transmitted form (submitted and AOR: Aug 19) and i noticed that i made a mistake in my relative's details. I made a typographical error in my brother's name. I wrote 'Oladipo' instead of 'Oladeji'. What should i do? Send a CSE or wait it out? I'm an FSW outlander. I hope it won't be seen as misrepresentation. Also where do I send the CSE to? How do I know which visa office is processing my application.

Send a CSE here ---> https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Choose 'Express Entry' as type of application.

Thank you Avisad, another member thinks it doesnt affect my CRS points hence wont be a 'misrepresentation'. But i have sent a CSE as its better safe than sorry.

I didn't imply that this would be construed as misrepresentation - I don't think it would. But it is always important to correct these typos early in the process.

Hi Asivad,

I have just found out I don't have my full travel history. I went to the US in 2008 but cant remember the date. I lost my old passport.

What can I do about this?

Thanks In advance.

I also don't think it would, but like you said, better to correct them sooner than later. Thanks

Hi Asivad and experts,

In my EE application, I wrote the following which differs from my the job letter I got from my previous and current employers:

- hours of work 40 (versus 37.5hrs depicted in my previous job letters)
- period of employment I wrote July instead of August which is reflected in my previous job letter
and
- 40 hours versus the 41 hours reflected in my current job letter.

I am planning to amend my permanent residence application form before submitting it with the requested documents to reflect the correct hours and a month of employment (as is depicted in the job letters).

Should I write a Letter of Explanation identifying this amendment and the errors which I have corrected in my Permanent Residence Application???

Be as accurate as possible in your application. Did you stay in the US for more than 6 months in a row during that visit? If not, this would probably be alright with approximate times.

Not necessary.

These are minor edits which make no material difference to your application and don't necessitate an LOE.

Hi Asivad,

I have worked for 5 employers. With one of the employers, I got promoted (both the positions were in same NOC) and previously I have shown that as one experience. Now, during uploading the documents I find that I cannot accommodate all of my documents for that employment. My question is , Can I split that experience for each position in post ITA profile so that I can have 2 uploading space for that job and I can attach my documents
comfortably ?

Thank you.

Hi Asivad,

Sorry to disturb you again.

Can you please advice about following related to proof of work experience.

1. As per checklist, my understanding is that we must provide only employment reference letter mentioning required info and pay stubs, if available.
Am I right ?
2. Is it mandatory to provide appointment letter or employment contract even if all the information required by CIC is mentioned in
employment reference letter ?
3. Besides these two things, shall we have to provide other documents such as License for particular profession , ID card, visiting card,
promotion letter, performance evaluation report, bank statement showing salary credit etc ? if I do not provide any of these, will there be
any negative effect ? Or if I provide all these, that will give any advantage? I am confused because if I provide all these , the scan quality
will be compromised.
4. Pay slips from one of my previous companies were computer generated and there was no signature on it. Is that ok ?
5. For another company for whom I worked about 8 years ago, I do not have any pay slips. Will it create any problem ?

Thank you

No harm in doing that.
