This is confusing me. Everybody is talking about the moratorium of lmo processing in the food service sector. However when i read this in the esdc website. it seems that almost all service and sales and service and sales management will be affected as well. there is also a list of noc codes in the website. any ideas about this?

"Effective immediately, ESDC will no longer process LMOs for occupations in the Food Services Sector.

LMOs will not be processed for occupations classified by the 2002 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS 2002) in Food Services and Drinking Places (NAICS subsector 722). Specifically, certain occupations related to sales and service and sales and service management as set out in the National Occupational Classification (NOC 2006). Please see this list for further detail.

here is the link to the site: http://www.esdc.gc.ca/eng/jobs/foreign_workers/lmo_ref/index.shtml

it doesnt makes sense when they say its only the food sector will be affected.

I'm not sure I understand your question.

The moratorium isn't limited to food sector workers only - it has impacted all of the NOCs listed on the link you provided.

Im sorry that i didnt state my question lol. My bad. Here is my situation, im currently working as a lube tech for a lube shop. Somebody wants me to hire me as a automotive servicing manager which is noc 0621. Everything is on the works now. What worries me is that my noc code is listed. However, i talked to a immigration consultant and she said that my occupation is part of automotive not service so i shouldnt be worrying.

If i were you and my NOC was actually listed, then the immigration consultant's word is irrelevant. She probably won't even know the complete list and just would have heard the speculation

Good Luck with that. This is basic as ABC. Obviously the NOC is in the link above so it will likely be rejected.
I wish I can say the opposite.
The only way to play is change the NOC and job description and re-apply.
