Hi,
I am a F-1 student in the US. A company (based in the US) wants to hire me in the US but they want to train me on a live project at a customer site for 2 weeks in Canada before hiring me in the US. The training period can be considered to be as an opportunity for the company (and myself) to see how I fit the role. So, I am not an employee during the training period and I will not be even paid by the company during the training. Can I visit Canada for the training on a TRV? If so, is there any thing special I need to mention in my application or attach any document?
Also, in the proof of funds section, what documents and how much funds do they expect to show for a 2-week visit to Canada?
Thank you in advance.
