I am a British citizen who has a 6 month research placement at a university in Toronto between mid June 2019 and mid December 2019.
In my job contract I was instructed I need a work permit and I MAY need a TRV. From a check online it appears I can get into the country using a ETA. Am I right in saying a work permit to cover my work and a simple ETA would be enough for me to travel and stay in Canada for six months? Or would I need both a TRV and a work permit?
