I am just wondering what you can do with a temporary file number before AOR1?

What function does it serve, other than to say it's awaiting allocation for a case processing agent to hopefully pass AOR1, so that you know your file will not be returned?

Thanks in advance for any help,

LL

Temporary number only mean ur file is at ircc office your application can still be return with a temporary number, I see it happen

An if application is assembly properly and complete temporary number become application number as AOR

Frankly not much - except for peace of mind that it hasn't actually been physically lost. (Which, to be fair, is a reasonable concern for those who waited four-five-six months or more before AOR)

There is a small corner case - helpful to those who wish to submit additional information or any other necessary interaction during the period before AOR. Not strictly necessary for that, but again - some peace of mind that the information submitted isn't going into the wind.

OK, pretty much as I thought. Thanks.
