TDS(tax deducted source) as salary slip

Hello all, since i had quit my last job few years back, I seemed to have misplaced the payslip or salary slip. However I do have a copy of TDS which basically gives the details of all tax deductions with my salary and all. If i sent that as a proof of my income, would that suffice?

You can provide the bank statements as well along with the TDS or income tax filed for the FY.

I had quit my job in 2015, would they still provide bank statements, and by bank statements basically you mean i just need to show the transaction that my account was credited xyz salary on that particular month from the respected company. Right?
