Taxes for newcomers, HELP!

Hello there.
I'm a newcome to Canada with a permanent residency. Here are some dates that might help you out in understanding my situation:

• Last day of employment before I travel was Nov 30
• Landed: December 3 (aka I was out of employment)
• Opened a Canadian bank account: December 4 and deposeted my savings which I got with me - <50K CAD (aka, I didn't even have to pay any tax on my savings, nor did I get any interest for my bank deposits, not until January)
• Started employment in Canada: January 8

Now, it's the tax filing season and I'm not sure how to do this since I had no income (not interest).
So technically, I am not sure if I need to file any taxes for 2023, and if so, what should I put in line 15000?

If you had no income for 2023 you dont need to file as your income was pre the date you became a tax resident in Canada. Residency is a grey area though!
