Tax return for PR who has not met the 2 year stay

Hi,

Came over the border with expired card no problems. Sin number worked fine and was able to work since August 2016.

I have not met the 2 year obligation yet ,( about a year and a half To go!) but if I file my tax return , could they try and take my PR status ?
