Tax on salary

Dear,
I would like to know if my salary is 2400/- per month, how much will I get after tax deduction??? How is the tax deduction calculated.....

You can find your tax rates here: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/llrts/menu-eng.html Aside from federal and provincial tax, you also pay a CPP premium (Canada Pension Plan) and EI (Employment Insurance). Out of those last two, there is a maximum contribution so you pay the percentage they list until you are up to the maximum for that year and then they stop deducting it.
