My cellphone company shows how many texts I send per month, but doesn't have any way of accessing them online and printing them. Forwarding them to my email only shows my cell # and not my fiance's. Would it be worthwhile to take digital photos of my cell phone screen that show my fiance's full name and number? I'm trying to find a software that would be compatable with my Samsung to download them from my phone to my computer, but I was thinking of doing this in the interim.

I took screen shots from my iphone and arranged them all on a page.

Some cell phones don't have the feature of taking screenshots. My wife has a bunch of texts when we first started dating, sadly we couldn't figure out a way to get them printed. Luckily we have lived together since 2006 (10 months after meeting), so for us, this was less important, and we supplied tons of other evidence.

I'd say do whatever works to get your evidence across.. and just explain the situation.

I wish I had thought to extract text messages from my phone :o

A large majority of our communication was via text message.
I have an iPhone, and I still have my message log with him since day 1
I took screen shots of at least 3 texts conversations per week, then downloaded them to the computer.
With a simple print program from the printer I was able to put 16 screen shots on an 8x10 paper, printed them in black and white and put them together chronologically.
I also made sure to change the contact name from his name to actually display his phone number on the top of each screen so they weren't guessing.

I emailed my text messages to myself and then printed them out......

I tried that but it only shows my cell phone number with the message my fiance sent me and my fiance's cell phone number and information doesn't show up in the forwarded email. :(

Looks like I'd better plan to start each weekend breaking out the digital camera and snapping pictures of the week's texts.

well that sucks......I had to send to an email that was not associated on my phone....i.e.work email....have your tried that???

I use an android phone, and used an app called smsbackup+. This allows me to make a backup of all of my txt messages into my gmail account. I also have the option to ask it to tag all of them into a specific label. Then all I had to do, was to search for the ones between my husband and I, and from there on it was just like extracting emails.

I'm not sure about iPhone, but I suspect it should have similar apps to what I am describing.

Appreciate the tip, didn't work but it was worth a shot :)

Mine is a weird cheapie Samsung that doesn't seem to have any apps that do that, but I'll keep my eyes peeled and try emailing my Alltel service provider to see if they've got any apps for my phone that might work :)

That's also a good possibility. I know some providers offer such options, but I'm not sure about Alltel :)
Hope something works out for you!

Maybe you could save your messages to your sim card, then borrow a phone that you can better access the messages on, insert the sim and copy them over?

Actually, you can use an android assistant to transfer text messages from your samsung galagxy to computer with ease. Then you can open the transferred file and print out your text messages.
