Taking a year out between school years and still having full post grad visa

Hello, I have a question which I cant find an answer too, I have currently complete 1 year of school in Canada and am going to go into a 2nd year of a 2 year program this year . I want to know if I could take a year out of Canada and take the 2nd year next year. once I come back from the year off and complete the course would I still be able to apply for a 3 year post graduate visa after I graduate
