Hi,

Currently my baby does not have his surname in his
passport so I m writing N / A in PR application form

I want to add surname in his passport after some time
Because it will take time to change in his passport.

Once I will, can I change my son name when I will send
my application to visa office

Please advice

Regards
Saadia

Name difference can make problem later on ,so do it before you submit your application and moreover, surname is not necessarily be included if there is not actually in documents...

you mean even it is not in passport i should write
down his surname but according to CIC requirement
your name should same as you have in passport

and neither i use nor my husband used surname we
both have given name

any suggestion seniors
Dear What I got from ur reply is that neither u nor ur spouse has any surname ( both in passport & in docs ) so u should write ur & ur spouse full name as given name & N/A for surname. Since parents have no surname then it appears no risk that baby too has no surname.
Its better if u give some detail about ur names so that a more appropriate reply could be made otherwise do provide info as Give ur baby full name as given name and leave the surname blank. If they do require explanation u could do it later by correcting the passport, etc.

till here everything I did as you said and for child surname also
I have write down N/A in current PR application

but problem is that now a days many place like usa, new zealand
surname is compulsory and he is 1 year old so I just thought
it is better to add his surname, he born in dubai and once we will
leave from here it is tough to get again birth certificate for him
from here if we will add his surname in passport then birth
certificate also require to change.

Hi current name is Rehaan Ali

I want to change in his passport like
surname will be Ali and Give name will be Rehaan

Dear there is a quote from Economics " U can't eat the cake & have it too".
So u can either apply ASAP to get in the queue and avoid the immg policy change or do the necessary changes in baby passport for surname, which of course would consume some time, which u would definitely don't want to do since u want to achieve 1st objective.
I think u are getting me point. For something 2 achieve u should sacrifice other.
My humble opinion is that go for visa application without surname complexity it would not be problematic for ur baby future. Or U could change it after initial application to CIO and amend it while sending full docs to CHC.Other wise u gonna keep on posting same question again N again unless & ultill u got the reply as u desired. :-* :-*
