Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Good day every one
My parents had applied for Supervisa online on 18 th Nov..,but nothing updated yet. When I checked processing time, it says around 9 days for TRV. I wonder, how long it takes to get medical requests...currently? ???

Thanks for starting this thread. Lets sharing our experience ...

I am also thinking of applying for my father ... bit confuse if I should go for visitor visa or super visa.

Background: I am a PR and student. I will complete my study on Jan/Feb. I have a job offer (with salary more than LICO requirement for supervisa), but I do (did) not meet LICO requirement for this (previous) year(s).

Hi PHds1
I think u can still apply for supervisa.
I have read some where without previous year's notice of assessment also u can apply if you can show your current earning( if you are working now) throughT4 or current pay stubs to show income requirements ......
Any experts...?.please advise

I applied Super Visa(online) for my mother on 4th Nov, 2015. I believe it goes to Chandigarh, India office. I haven't received any update yet. Even Medical is not passed yet. CIC showing 23 days processing time for Chandigarh office.

Yes my friend we are in the same boat, I applied for my mother on nov 9, and haven't received anything yet...
It is an online application, likely to be sitting in chandigarh coz my mom lives in Punjab...
Do post right away soon you receive anything as you are few steps (days) ahead of me.

Wow ! It's really long time..
it seems my parents should wait quitely for few more weeks because they had applied on 18 th Nov only..

In September, my friends' parents had got complete processing within 3 weeks...
But now it is taking more than 3 weeks even to start working on application..

Thank you Robin for your information..! Please keep posting updates....

Hi Danny
it's good news that you are inviting your parents in supervisa. You can find various companies to offer supervisa insurance in canada but i personally found Manulife and AIG offering better rates. I found AIG company better than the rest... you can compare the prices online in their sites with different deductibles option or contact any insurance agent for better rate ... hope this information will help you..

Thanks Sanjiv for sharing the progress of the application. I am in the same boat as you, parents submitted online supervisa application on Dec 1st. No medial request yet.To expedite the process, do you think I should ask my parents to do medical test without waiting for medical request?

Because medical facility is only asking for passport, passport copy do to medical, they do not want any medical request letter or online application number. So I am thinking to do medical upfront. Any suggestions here?
