Need input from recent Super Visa applicants / Hosts.

Is Medical insurance for 1 year proof to be submitted as part of Super Visa applications or the Insurance is required only before the travel?

Needs to be submitted as part of the application.

I have a question hope I can get help. I am planning to apply SV for my parents after a VV refusal. My income is above the LICO requirement. But the amount I have in my bank is not that high, it's decent. My husband is going to be co-signer. When I combine my bank balance with him, we have good sum to show. What should be the ideal amount to show for SV. Alone as well as along with the spouse?

As long as you meet your LICO, your bank balance should not matter. Besides, they want to how much your parents have in their bank account.

1. No. It's not OK. You need NOA 2024 that meets LICO.
2. You can ask your wife as co-signer and include her income for 2024. If the combined income meets LICO you can apply for your parents' supervisa. BUT if the combined income doesn't meet LICO, you hopefully has a job now and you can try to apply once you have NOA 2025. If your sister's income alone meet LICO for her family size and if she is a PR/citizen, she can apply for your parents' super visa INSTEAD of you.
(income cannot be combined for siblings)
Hello,

I have also included my wife as a co-host in the invitation letter and also including her NOA and pay stubs. Since she is a co-signer, should I also include her signature along with mine at the bottom of the letter?

Good idea although technically not required. It is easy to do and does shows that she is supportive of the sponsorship.

Thank you :)

1. You need to meet income for 2024 so NOA or T4s for 2024. 2023 doesn’t count as it is income in the past year.
2. Your wife can co-sign to meet LICO. Sister’s income is not relevant. If she is PR or citizen and meets LICO on her own then she is eligible for parents’ supervisa.

  • the last notice of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency
  • T4 or T1 for the last tax year
  • pay stubs for the most recent 12-month period available
  • employment insurance benefit statements
  • a letter from an accountant confirming the annual income, if self‑employed
  • proof of other sources of income (for example, pension statements)
  • a letter from the employer stating the job title, job description and salary
  • bank statements
Hi do we need to submit all 12 month paystubs or just recent 4-5 paystubs
